INTRODUCTION
Hello my fellow steemians I hope you are having a good day. I want to participate in Monday's daily dainamic. Here I will be discussing on onion.
Onions are a vegetable in many cuisines all over the world and they are known for their flavor and aroma. Not only do they enhance the taste of dishes, but they also brings a large range of health benefits which make them an important addition to a balanced diet.
One of the main important of onions is their high antioxidant content, mainly quercetin. Antioxidants help in the neutralization of harmful free radicals in the body, taking down the risk of having chronic diseases for example heart disease, cancer, and even diabetes. Quercetin has also been proven to have anti-inflammatory properties, that can put help in reducing the inflammation and give support to the health of the overall immune system .
Onions are also a very good source of vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C, vitamin B6, and potassium. Vitamin C is beneficial for immune system function and the health of the skin, while vitamin B6 is important for the brain health and metabolism. Potassium at the same time helps to regulate blood pressure and also support heart health.

You can add onions to any meal of your choice either you can use it on rice, beans, soup or any other food of your choice.
