My most memorable moment in school.

Like other people would say, he who has not been to school has missed the important part of life. I always meditate on the statement, trying to figure out how true it is. Then it came to my mind that school is a world of its own.

In school, you face and experience almost all aspects of life. Sometimes it can be rocky and on other days, it can be rosy and full of fun and sweet or interesting memories. When I flashback to some of the memories in school, I do wish to find myself as a student together with all my school friends. But it is something that would never happen again because some life happens once.

I had a lot of fun and sweet memories as a student. But the day I sign out of the university stands out to be the most exciting. The day was filled with laughter, celebration, and what have you. Although the event happened on the 7th, of July 2021, it still seems like yesterday to me.

Imagine being in school studying physics for 5 years. Within those years, you have battled with hunger, sleepless nights, running to lectures under hot dry sun, calling home begging for money to buy foodstuff and handouts. It was indeed something else.

After having such experiences for years, a day comes when you are sure not to experience any of them again. You just wrote your last exam as a university student and you are signing out. It was the best feeling for me. When I remember all those bad times I had as a student, and today I'm signing out, I feel super excited and blessed. Truly, every beginning has an end.

Why did it become a memorable moment?

It was a memorable moment for 3 reasons. The reasons are:

1. It was a day that marked my last exam as undergraduate student. It was a day that put a stop to running to lectures, passing out the night in class just to read for exams, calling home to beg for money, buying handouts, etc.
2. It was a day when you knew within yourself that you wouldn't get to see some of your friends and coursemates again.
3. It was a day I had more fun with my friends and coursemates. We danced together, snapped pictures, and had a lot of fun.

How did you make it memorable?

From the pictures, you can tell that it was a beautiful moment with friends and coursemates. We were all aware that such time and opportunity would never come again. As such, we celebrated it to the fullest. We hired a DJ and professional photographers. As the music was playing, everyone was demonstrating his or her dancing skills. I still remember how we were taking a snapshot like kids. I wish I could go back to that day with all my friends available.
