WEEK #13, DRAWING CONTEST OF A KANGAROO, BY @ISHAYACHRIS

Greetings to all the kids lovers and the amazing kids in the house. I believe we are having a great day. Today, I welcome you once again to my blog where I will be sharing with you some characteristics, qualities and a diagram of kangaroo. Before then, I want to congratulate all those who participated in #week12 contest. It was really wonderful and entertaining. All salute goes to this wonderful community @steemkids for their amazing effort in building this platform. I appreciate you all once again. Describe a kangaroo

Kangaroos belong to Macropodidae family, i.e mammals with big foot. They are considered to be the world’s largest marsupials. Kangaroo can grow two (2) meters tall and weigh 90kg. Kangaroo have long and muscling legs and a strong tail Which they normal use as third leg. The tail is so strong that they can even balance on it. They have small head with large and rounded ears, their mouth is small with prominent lips. Kangaroo also have short hair, excellent hearing and keen eyesight. Their hair complexion can be red, grey or dark brown. Kangaroo are herbivorous in nature. And they can possibly be found out in a bright sunlight, but they are more active at night and early in the morning. kangaroos are also good swimmers, and they can easily use their forepaws to drown their predators in water. Kangaroo feed on leaves, plant, and fruits.
kangaroo are also known their forward opening pouch. And a female kangaroo is known as flyer while the male are known as boomer. When alarmed, Kangaroos hiss and growl, and whenever females want to communicate to their offspring, they make clicking noises and males ‘chuckle’ during courtship. Kangaroo have pouches where they rear their offspring, and they give birth to one offspring annually, although they are able to keep extra embryos in a dormant state, One in their pouch and another in a dormant state.
