Week #16 Begins👉 Draw A peacock 🦚 by @ishayachris

Greetings to all the kids, and the entire community. I welcome you all to this week drawing challenge, and to my blog where I will be partaking in peacock drawing. Before I proceed, I want to appreciate this community @steemkidss, and @eliany for this wonderful drawing challenge.

Peacocks, which is also known as peafowl, are large colorful birds that live mostly in India and Asia, although we also have them here in Africa. We have two species, blue peafowl and green peafowl. Peacocks are the males, while the females are known as peahens. Peacocks are seen as extravagant birds, which have iridescent blue necks and bright green tail feathers which are dotted with eyespots. peacocks also have tufts of feathers crested out of their heads. The tail of a peacock is about 7.5 ft long. Also, peacock have sharp mouth like hens, and they also have two legs, and feather that help them to fly.

Just like any living creature, peacock have their own special qualities. Below are some of their qualities.

• they are so beautiful and attractive
• they have a lot of confidence
• they are friendly
• they are noisy and loud
• they have the ability to fly
• they are dramatic and they have sweeping gesture
• they can be manipulative

Some years ago, I have seen it in one man's house when I was returning from school. I have also seen it both on televisions and magazines.

Peacock are important to man. Below are some of their importance.

• its the national bird of India
• some people keep their feathers at home because they believe that it brings good luck
• they are kept in zoo for entertainment purposes
• some people raise it for economic purposes
• other people use it as meat

I love peacock because,

1. Of it beautiful nature
2. It dramatic nature
3. It confidence
4. Friendliness

Materials used

• A4 paper
• pencil
• Razor
• cleaner

I started by drawing the mouth, neck, and the upper parts of the body, as you can see below.

The second part I drew was the legs, and I joined it to the upper part.

I then drew the eyes and the feather as seen below.

I used green colour to beautify the feather, as seen below
