THE DIARY GAME: 11-7-24 | Boy Scout of thr Philippines School Encampment

I'm glad I am back now.

I temporary rest from updating but surely I come back. I desperately need a bit finance and Steemit got my back. I will try to stand up and build up my account again.

Elementary Boy Scout Camping

Today is the most exciting part of all the registered boy scouts. They have their investiture this morning. It means they are acknowledge as part of the boy scout community. We started at 8pm to do the formation and do some picture taking.

At exactly 9am we started the invistiture. There are more or less 105 boy scouts from the lower grades of 1, 2 and 3.

There is the entrance of the Philippine flag with the school flag as the ceremony opens. The bearers of the flag are the boy scouts from higher grades of 4, 5, 6.

As part of the ceremony is the lightning of the 6 candles with different meaning. With the selected boy scouts, they say something in each candles.

The last part is the pinning of carabao pin. It was done by their parents. The parents will pin the handkerchiefs with the carabao pin. I saw the pride of the parents while pinning the handkerchiefs to their children.

In the afternon, there are many games. It started at 1:00pm.

The first game is the Chinese walk. Using the paper plates, it will be inserted in their armpit and knees, then walk towards the center then go back to the line.

The second game is the planting rice. With 5 soda bottles and a drinking straw, the child will insert the straw in each bottle. Then go back to its place so the next child can play.

The last game is shooting ball. They will simply shoot the ball in the backpack.

There are 7 games in all for the whole afternoon. All the boy scouts are happy and seems have fun. I am also happy and enjoy for them.

After the program, everyone went hoke happy with winning prizes and consolation prizes. All went home with something.
