my actions to make our environment cleaner, greener and healthier 🌲🌲🌲🌴🌴🌴

Hello and warmest greetings to all my fellow amiable and lovely steemians across the globe, how are you all doing today? I hope and expect that you all fine and healthy as well as having alot of fun and enjoying the beautiful and special moments of November with your friends and loved ones, I remain your colleague @john247 from #Nigeria as you all know it always my pleasure having you in blog, this week am opportune and delighted to participate in week #34 of this amazing contest titled; Our Environment Deserves to be cleaner, greener and healthier, usually organized by @ngoenyi here at #Steemkids.

The environment refers to our surroundings in which life exists on earth, that's to say by keeping our environment clean we can reduce the risk of these illnesses and diseases around us, so we must try to recognize the impact of our actions on the environment and take steps to minimize and reduce unhealthy living and risk of harmful germs and illness around us, because environmental conservation is not just a responsibility, but a necessity for the survival of our planet and future generations and also for people to have good air quality and access to adequate drinking water, safe sanitation and waste management.

✅ What did you do?

Since I came to realize that regular cleaning of our environmental surfaces and surroundings helps to prevent people against illness as well as germs and pollution I took environmental cleaning and maintenance as my hobby and lifestyle that's to say I always put my best to see that my environment is always in good condition.

So this week I took actions in keeping my work place clean and good looking by trimming and reducing the over grown flowers in my work place.

✅ How did you do it?

Well trimming a flower is not a big deal all you have to do is just to make arrangements of the items you will be using either cutlass or Pruning shears which is the best depending on your choice and the one you have, as for I made use of our company Pruning shears which makes the work easier and faster for me, after trimming the flowers I used broom to sweep and gather the ones I trimmed in a spot so that it will be much more easier for me to pack it.

✅ Where did you do it?

There is no limit of keeping our environment clean and healthier what am trying to say is that environmental hygiene and maintenance can be done anywhere anytime in as much as you ready and willing to do it, so this week actions in keeping my environment healthier and greener actually took place in my workplace at Nowas filling station Trans-ekulu Enugu State.

✅What motivated you?

Motivation comes along with determination, what am trying to say is that if you are not determine to do something you never be motivated, so I was motivated in keeping my environment healthier and cleaner, so the feeling and comfort of seeing your environment healthier and neat is enough reason for me to carry on a task like this in keeping it clean always, apart from that clean environment plays a vital role in our overall happiness such that it boost mood and keep motivated, and also I did what I did because the flower has overgrown and it need to be trimmed to avoid it looking bushy and shattered.

Conclusion

Good health is very essential and important to our daily lives so which means we have to under go any aspect to achieve it, just like the organizer said earlier, It is sad that so many of us have neglected our environment and have even contributed in ruining it, yes because most of us show so much ignorance in maintaining and taking care of surrounding and environmental health even when we have the opportunity of doing that, also because laziness, ignorance, lifestyle and background of an individual, which is affecting us negatively but most of us don't know about that, so contribute and assist in making the world a healthy and happy place to live.
