Week #29👉My Pictures, My Memories Contest, My Picture Album Is Safe With Steem

            INTRODUCTION

Hello, greetings to everyone at steem kids and parents.

With the increasing problems faced with our physical pictures from being destroyed by humidity to rain and sometimes insects, it is necessary to save some of my pictures using other modes. And one of the best place to save pictures is on the internet.

And with the invent of decentralised social media in steemit, saving pictures has never been better. I will be saving some of my pictures here both old and new. Steemit which will be staying for as long as the internet remains means my photos can be equally saved for a long period of time.

              PICTURE 1

Life is just like the flower which blossoms and wither in a very short time. Humans live for just a short time and in that short period of time, how you live matters a lot. Because at the end, we all will die. Our colleague lost his mom after a long illness. It was both a mixed feeling for him. Joy, for at last his mom will finally see rest, sadness, because she will no longer be there for him.

As fellow colleagues, we were all invited to be a pillar of strength for him. This day is memorable for me because of how we showed strength to one of our own, we helped him too financially to put things in place. And also helped to uplift that burden of grief. We actually turned a sad moment to a moment of smiles and happiness. He was really grateful. At that moment of happiness, I had to take a selfie picture of all of us giving out a great smile. The picture was taken on my Redmi phone.

I cherish this moment very well because it shows that even in the moment of grief, we can create our own happiness. We did this for our colleague because we all knew that he was in his grief period. We are a family.

This week's memories are all about supporting my family. In what was a moment of Celebration for my friend turned brother. Wisdom who was graduating from school and his brother Akan with me all striking a pose for the camera in what was my first trip to Lagos.

A week before this day, I was informed of the graduation programme of Wisdom, and his immediate family couldn't attend except Akan his brother, this was due to the distance.
I felt about the pain of him having a great celebration like this one and not seeing family and friends coming to support him. So I decided to go support him. Our trip to Lagos wasn't an easy one but we arrived safely after 19 hours of journey to Lagos from Akwa Ibom state..It was the longest journey I have gone. We arrived in the morning of the Celebration and still attended it.

I was tired from the journey, but we still supported him. He was happy seeing us, because we came all the way down there to support him. He was the best graduating student too. We took pictures together to celebrate that grand event. It was a memorable one not just for the event alone but because it was my first day in Lagos. The picture was taken by a friend who also graduated using my Redmi10c device.

It was all galore of celebrations in Uyo last year, when all my friends who had traveled came back for Christmas holiday. We all went out for a picnic to have a time together. I would say this one of the best day in 2022. We ate together, drank together, made jokes together, played games together. It was the best feelings to have my close friends back home. We did those things we used to do when we were small. I enjoyed their company and couldn't hide the emotions. We stayed till late at night, and then we all went home. This day was memorable to me. The picture was taken by @imohmitch using my Redmi10c device.

These are my memorable pictures, it brings this goosebumps on my body any time I look at them. Pictures are very good in bringing back memories and should be saved for the future.
