As a newcomer in the Steemit community, this feels like a very unique moment to contribute to the success and growth of the community. The nomination creates a sense of belongingness amongst members of this community and for that I'm grateful to the Steemit community for the initiative.

Steemit Award Nominations.

In this article, I will be nominating Authors and Community for the following roles:

1. Best Author
2. Best Contributor
3. Best Community

In my short time in this community, I have been opprtuned to have come across various amazing Authors across different communities. Although it was definitely difficult to single out the ones I'll put up for nominations, it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up on.

To quote something I learned from her articles; "A good article is just as good as the way it is presented."
You might have a good information to pass across but without proper presentation, your effort are as good as ineffective.

Her articles have always captivated me, from the markups to her arrangement format. As a newbie, I was quickly able to learn how to write quality articles by simply observing how she writes hers.

I'm also nominating her for "Best Author" judging for her level of activity on the Steemit platform which has led her to also curate newcomers achievement publication, one of the most stressful tasks. I probably wouldn't be on Steemit if she hadn't curated my achievement -1 post.

I was completely lost in this community until she came by and even had to go to extra length to confirm my identity via video chat. That takes a lot of dedication and seriousness. I look up to @goodybest as the type of Author I hope to be someday in this wonderful community.

I nominate @bossj23 for the award of "Best Contributor". I wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for the hard work of this author, @bossj23.

He took me in during my first few days of trying to find my way alone , and taught me how to be a good author in the Steemit community. His selfless attitude to attending to my questions as well as that of other newcomers in this community as only helped to build my respect towards his work.

His attitude towards helping newcomers learn about this platform has only helped contribute to the increase of skilled and well informed authors in the community. I try to follow in his steps by also encouraging my friends to join the Steemit community as well as try to inculcate in them the same lessons I have learned from @bossj23.

Best Community: Steem for Kids and Parents

I am nominating Steem for kids and Parents.
We often hear the saying - "Children are the leaders of tomorrow", in this community, it is fully implemented. I wish I came across Steemit when I was much younger but seeing young Authors sharing their creative ideas and stories in contests such as I spy with my little eye, a game that helps to test your reasoning skill, daily diary contest, giving the authors an opportunity to share the interesting activities that transpired during the day.

Just to be clear, kids aren't the only one who get to participate primarily, even parents need an escape from their daily activities. It's not easy being a Parent, I know this because I know what my Mom went through raising me.

The community aims to both educate the young ones and help the adult get a break from their daily routine, for me that checks all the boxes. It is therefore important to mention that the community is also available for anyone to participate. The able curators are ever so active and cautious, going through every single article to ensure that the standard of the noble Steemit community is maintained.

Having shared my reasons for my respective nominations, I would also like to state that many other Authors and Community have contributed to my growth on this platform and I would like to say a big thank you. I look forward to seeing the results of this prestigious Steemit award nominations .
