The Diary Game: Attending Church And Celebrating Easter Sunday 20-04-2025

Good day my good people of steemit, happy easter to everyone in the house. I am still @joychi102 writing all the way from Nigeria and today, I want to talk about how my easter sunday went about.

There is a saying that goes "to sleep is normal but to wake up is by the grace of God" yes this is true, I mean I was lying there on my bed at night not knowing what was going on and God woke me up again, that is more than a miracle to testify of.

When we all woke up, I prepared my kids to church while my husband also prepared himself as well. We all went to church for easter celebration, at least the Christian folks knows what happens during easter, when we got to the church the service had started already so we joined.

The sermon was powerful and packed. After service, we went back home to continue with the celebration, right at home, I started preparing salad so that we can use and eat the white rice I cooked before going to church, cooking has always been my favorite chore at home though stressful i like every bit of the process.

When I finished cooking, I dished it for my kids and took some to my husband in the shop, we had customers calling so he asked us to relax and enjoy at home while he opens the shop to attend to customers, he is such a strong man and the most wonderful man I have met in my life, thanks to God for bringing such a beautiful soul to my life.

When I came back from the shop, I joined my kids to eat and after eating I went to bed to rest. I rested for some time and then stood up to go and wash the plates we used to eat. After washing the plates, I went outside so that I can go and check on my husband if he was done with the food I gave him.

On leaving the house, I met my goat, the one I gave my landlord wife's to take care of for me, she told me the goat had given birth since February but I haven't seen them since then, I took a picture of it, the goat was given to me by my mother when she came for my "Omugo".

I stayed with him (my husband) for some time and helped him attend to customers while he eat because I noticed he was still struggling to eat because he was attending to customers at the same time. When he was done, I took the food pack back home to wash.

When I was done washing the plates, I took my kids to watch football because we did not have any other place to go to as my husband instructed us not to go far incase he wants to close the shop and come back home, we went there, though I didn't even enjoy the game but my kids did and I was okay with that.

The team that won were really celebrating on the rain and even the kids were doing so. We waited for the rain to subside before we went back home.

When we arrived home, my husband was there waiting for us, I opened the door and he came inside so I boiled water for us to bath with then I gave my family dinner and they all ate and went to sleep.

The rain is really doing us good because the weather is calm and breezy and I can sleep peaceful today, but before I will go to bed I have to write about my day so that you will also be on the know on how my day went, thank you for always being here for me my friends, I am grateful.
