Hello friends,

I count it all joy to appear before this great community today in attempt of the wonderful contest hosted by this community.

Before I go any further, I will love to extend my warm greetings to the admin and moderators of this great community.
You all are doing well in the running of this community.

This contest is a very interesting contest as it aims to help us understand how we care for our family and ways we can improve our care for our family.
Please follow along as we begin

HOW DO YOU CARE FOR YOUR FAMILY?

Before I explain in details how I care for my family, I will love to first give a brief explanation of who a family is.

A family is popularly explained to be a group of people related by blood, marriage or adoption.

Personally, I will define a family to be a group of people who sincerely love each other and have the interest of one another at heart.

I gave this definition of mine because we have seen some friends who stuck closer than a brother and we have seen brothers betraying the trust of the other.

Formally, a family consist of Father, Mother, children and other blood relations.

Caring for our family is one of our ultimate priority because our family are individuals that have been with us for a very long period of time, most times from when we were born.

Being the first son, it is my obligation to care for my family and I have ensured to this in so many ways.

Beginning from my Dad, I care for him by ensuring that I wash his clothes regularly and I also ensure that the clothes he puts on to work are neatly ironed.

Another way I care for my Father is by ensuring that his room and toilet are always neat.

Aside caring for my father, I also care for my mother too.
I care for her by assisting her all the time in her farm work.
I ensure she doesn't have to do the hard-work in the farm all by herself.

I also searched for ways to care for my siblings.
Since I can't provide materially for them, I ensure to assist and care for them in other ways I could.

I assist them with their assignment and ensure that they understand every topic taught in their school.

Another way I care for them is by giving them advise all the time, I advise them on how to live their lives and I also try my best to live an exemplary life.

WHAT'S THE SIZE OF YOUR FAMILY?

I come from a nuclear family and it is known, a nuclear family is a family that is made up of Father, Mother and children.

I come from a family of seven including my parents.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU CARE FOR THEM?

The frequency at which i care for my family cannot be measured.

I care for my family daily and at every slight moment I have.

I assist my siblings with their assignment daily, I also join my mother daily and ensure she doesn't get stressed out.

WHAT THINGS DO YOU USE IN CARING FOR THEM AND DOES IT COST YOU ANYTHING?

Well, I use a lot of things in caring for them.

To care for my siblings, I make use of my head since I have to understand the topic being taught in their class and I also have to look for an easier way to explain it to them.

To care for my parents, I have to give my time and efforts.

Ensuring that my Dad's clothes are neatly washed and ironed takes time and efforts and it is worth it.

HOW DO YOU FEEL WHEN YOU HAVE CARED FOR YOUR FAMILY AND HOW DO THEY FEEL TOO?

Caring for my family is something I do wholeheartedly and I am not compelled to do it.

I feel very happy and refreshed whenever I care for my family, I feel appreciated and this motivates me to do more for them.

The joy on the faces of my family is second to none and this uplifts my spirit a lot.
My family feels very happy when they see how much I care for them and they frequently reassure me of their love for me and this makes me happy.

DO YOU SOMETIMES FAIL TO CARE FOR YOUR FAMILY? WHAT RESULTS WHEN YOU NEGLECT THAT RESPONSIBILITY?

Sadly, I sometimes fail to fulfil my responsibilities to care for my family and this is not because I want to.

The only time I fail to care for my family is when I am down physically, most times when I am sick.

These period, my family really show how much they love and cherish me and I feel that indeed, I am in the midst of individuals that loves me.

Another situation whereby I can't care for my parents is usually when I leave for school.
I am an undergraduate and most times I live on campus, at such I can't care for my family.

Whenever I fail to care for my parents, my siblings easily feel up the space and at such, my parents wouldn't really feel the gravity of my absence.

For my siblings, whenever I fail to care for them, more especially their assignment, they have to meet a senior colleague of theirs in school who would help put them through on the given assignment.

BENEFITS OF CARING FOR OUR FAMILY

There are numerous benefits that comes from caring for the family and some of them are:

• PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE:

One of the benefits of caring for our family I that it enhances peaceful coexistence amongst family members.

Most families that seem not to coexist peacefully is as a result of lack of care from family members.

• GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT:

Another benefit of caring for the family is that it boost the growth and development of each family members.

The young ones tend to learn from the older ones and the older ones seeks suggestions and opinions from the younger ones too.

• HAPPY FAMILY LIFE:

When family members show care and concern for one another, it helps to build love amongst them which in turn helps them live a happy family life.

DO ANYONE ASSIST YOU TO CARE FOR YOUR FAMILY

The responsibility of caring for the family is not something that should be done by one person.

For the family to progress, all family members should be involved in caring for one another.

In my family, my siblings assist me a lot to care for my parents and for the household in general.

I am blessed to have such a family.
