Hi steemians and friend, It is my delight to post this contest about drawing an Elephant and its purpose. So, in this post i will show you guys my drawing, and i will say something about Elephant in this post. So, my post begin.

Describing an Elephant
Biggest living earth animal, characterized by its long trunk (stretched out upper lip and muzzle), columnar legs, and huge head with temporal glands and wide, flat ears. Elephants are stained to brown in colour, and their body hair is sparse and coarse. Elephant is called mammal because the born their children alive and they nourish their children with
milk from special mammary glands of the mother. Elephant can still feed them-self. For Asian Elephant, their pregnancy last for 18-22 month while African Elephant last for 22 month. Approximately their pregnancy last for 2 years

Elephants are the largest land animals on Earth, and they're one of the most unique-looking animals, too. With their characteristic long noses, or trunks; large, floppy ears; and wide, thick legs, there is no other animal with a similar physique. And the like to trip together and walk in unity

What qualities does an elephant possess?

Elephant are gentle animal, they have great strength and mighty in nature, that can make it to push down a tree, it is still gentle in nature, they did not like to live alone, they can confront they others, they like to live like a congregation. But when they angry, they like to be cooperative with each others, they can be very aggressive.

Have you seen one before? If yes, where?

I haven't seen it before, but i hope to see it in life. It is hard to seen it in Zoo, then think in this our locality, it can not be seen in our locality. But i have seen it in films, picture, and brochures.

Are they important to man?

They are key stone species and play very important role in maintaining the biodiversity of the ecosystem in which they live. during dry season they use there tusk to dig for water.

Even, if when they are wild, but they have good quality human being can still learn from Elephant. they always protect their young once, the protect their young ones from other dangerous animal like Lion,etc.
