When I thought I could make an ORIGAMI craft for this competition, my daughter said she knows how to do dragon origami, and I asked her to make one myself. She also made me this Landing Dragon craft and I will share the tutorial of making it with you here.

Landing dragon- Origami

Materials required:

• Color paper (red)
• Scissors
• Glue

Step1:

Take a pink color sheet and Cut it out 1.5cm along the horizontal side of the paper

Step 2:

Fold the bigger part of the paper along it's length into 2 equal parts

Step 3:

Open the folding to view the crease formed along the centre. Now fold it's top edges to the centre crease formed

Step 4:

Again fold one side of the house shape formed equally to the centre such that its edge runs along the centre crease

Step 5:

Repeat the same to form a arrow shape

Step 6:

Now fold one side of the top part of the arrow shape upward such that a edge runs parallel to the bottom edge of the triangle on the back side

Step 7:

Repeat the same on the other side

Step 8:

Now fold down the triangle above along the edges of the side foldings

Step 9:

Fold up thr triangle agin leaving a distance of 1cm between the previous and currently forming triangle bottom side

Step10:

Now fold the shape into 2 equal halves along the centre of the triangle symmetricaly

Step11:

Fold up the triangle lying on the left such that it's edge runs parallel to the side of the house shape

Step12:

Now fold the side triangle inward using the crease formed from the previous step

Step13:

Then fold the front side of the side triangle into half such that the edge of the new triangle formed lies along the edge of the previous triangle

Step14:

Now fold down the wing of the dragon on the front side such that the front tip of the wing touches the lining of the folded body line of the dragon (outside of the folded triangle)

Step15:

Repeat step 13 and 14 on the back side aswell

Step16:

Now using Scissors cut the bottom side of the wings such that they have a inward curved ending.

Step17:

Now twice fold the front folded triangle, first to left and the to right, to form the neck, head and, design on top of the dragon head

Step18:

Now cut the 1st cut out 1.5cm rectangle into 2 equal halves along it's breadth

Step 20:

Now fold it into equal halves along it's length

Step 21:

Then using Scissors cut it into a tail shape as given

Step 22:

The apply gum to the wider side of the tail to stick it to the body. Stick it in a upward 30° angle in the inside of the dragons body

Step 22:

Thus our landing dragon origami is ready. Make it stand on it's chest.
