Parrot - Origami

Materials required:

1. Green color paper
2. Scale
3. Pencil
4. Scissors

Step1:

Cut a 15×15cm square out of the green colored paper

Step2:

Fold it diagonally into a triangle

Step 3:

Unfold it and refold it into a triangle along the other diagonals

Step 4:

Unfold it and fold it in half to form a rectangle horizontally

Step 5:

Unfold it and refold it into a rectangle vertically

Step 6:

Unfold to reveal the creases formed

Step 7:

Now fold it into an inward square along the creases

Step 8:

Next fold one side of the diamond inward such that it lies along the strait crease formed along the centre

Step 9:

Now repeat the same on the other side

Step 10:

Turn it over and do the same for this side

Step 11:

Fold the bottom triangle up

Step 12:

1. Unfold the whole lot to reveal the creases formed
   

Step 13:

Now fold it into a triangle along the first crease formed

Step 14:

Then using a scissor cut it at the center, along the center crease until it separates the 2 square creases formed

Step 15:

Unfold it and refold it into a rectangle along the crease formed before such that the cut comes on the left from the center

Step 16:

And then fold it into an inward diamond square again with the cut on top

Step 17:

Now using the previous flp creases formed, fold the front side into a long diamond

Step 18:

Turn over and Repeat the same

Step 19:

Now fold down the top of the long diamond on one side

Step 20:

Fold the right side of the central triangle revealed to the right, forming a diamond square

Step 21:

Repeat the same on the other side

Step 22:

Now fold up the Lower flap of one of the diamond squares inwardly such that it meets along the central crease

Step 23:

Repeat it with the upper flap

Step 24:

Now unfold it and fold it into a long diamond using the creases formed

Step 25:

Now fold down the small diamond from the center

Step 26:

Repeat these steps on the other side

Step 27:

Now turn it over and fold the left side such that the edge runs along the central crease

Step 28:

Fold the other side similarly

Step 29:

Turn it over

Step 30:

Fold down the front side of the small diamonds

Step 31:

Now turn it over and fold in one side of the sailboat shape at the back such that the edge runs along the central crease

Step 32:

Repeat the same on the other side

Step 33:

Turn it over and fold its sides into a long diamond shape. To do this first create the crease like before

Step 34:

Now fold in the corners of the wings to make it proper

Step 35:

Repeat it on the other side

Step 36:

Now fold down the top

Step 37:

Leave 1 cm and fold it up again

Step 38:

Leave 0.5cm and fold it down again

Step 39:

Finally, fold down the tip to perfect the beak

Step 40:

Fold down the 2 legs on either side to let the bird perch

Draw an eye on either side and let your bird sit on your finger.
