This is my first time of making an entry into this contest,I never really noticed it was a weekly routine, but a closer look into it today made me understand it's a weekly contest and an interesting one at that. I want specially thank @uzma4882 for coming up with this beautiful contest.
Family is indeed everything, no one can truly love you like those you call your family. I understand that there are people that are not related to us by blood that we refer to as family but I beg to say that blood is thicker than water. Your family by blood will always go the extra mile to ensure you're fine.
Family strengthen our daily activity and of course I totally agree with this statement. How interesting and sweet it is to know that some set of people got your back any time, any day no matter what. We are always there for ourselves. My siblings and I were all brought up by our parent to ensure we are on the look out for one another.
One of the routine of my parents is to check on each and everyone of us and they have rubbed that same culture on me who happen to be the first among five. Anytime they reach out to me, after exchanging pleasantries, they immediately ask if I've heard from my siblings.

This makes me more than responsible, even if I do not want to, I've got no choice than to esure this because who would I really check on to know how they are faring if not them. I know am always guilty in this aspect once in a while and of course am not proud of it but each time I realize this, I get on my toe and do the needful so that the bond can be strengthened.
We were taught "togetherness" and that is still being practiced today amongst us. We were taught to share things, to love, to eat together... In fact this eating together of a thing is one that I can't forget in a hurry. While growing up, we would be served in a single plate and all of us would have to dip our hands in that single plate to eat.

Were there no plates in the house? Of course not but they were trying to inculcate into us a culture that is priceless. This culture is so impactful that if one of us is not together with us at the table to eat, we would easily figure out and would be compelled to find out why and wait until we are sure we should go ahead without him or her.
Today we still share, we do not only share our money, we also share information. I became a bit serious with airdrop today because one of my kid bro got quite a tangible amount from airdrop and then saw the need to create a group from the family, excluding my dad and mum though, where he can be sharing such update with us.

That's what bond can do, it makes you have this sense of responsibility toward others. The bond we share also help us communicate everyday. All thanks to the family Whatsapp group initiative which I would love to recommend to everyone. It doesn't cost you to create a group where you and your siblings and parent can join to keep the bond and communication.
We discuss on this group almost everyday even if it just to say "hello" or share an important information. We are not all physically present with each other but through this social media platform, the obvious barrier caused by distance have been bridged virtually.

And guess what? we are content that we all are still together, having fun and interesting conversation about our achievements, wins and challenges as though we are together physically.
A big shout out to our friends but at the end of the day, we would find out that our family is all we've got, they will always stand by us any time any day.
