Drawing challenge week #16 Begins: Peacock 🦚

Hello dear steemkids community, I'm happy to be back again to this weekly drawing contest.
For this week we are asked to make a drawing of my favorite animal which is the peacock.

In this post I'm going to highlight the following topics as the contests required:

What qualities does a peacock 🦚 have?
Have you seen one before? If yes, where?
Are they important to man, what significant role do they play in humans life?
Why do you like it?

I'll also show you some steps I took in making the drawing.

Description of a peacock 🦚

One thing I know and love about the peacock is it's beautiful colors.
Peacocks are on of the beautiful birds on earth and they are known for their colorful feathers.
They are made up of mainly blue, green and golden. The peacock has a long neck, long feathers and a crown on the head.

Peacocks are omnivores birds, they mostly eat fLower petals, plants, insects, Fruits etc. A Peacock is also known as a peafowl and the baby a peachick.

Qualities of a peacock

• A peacock makes lots of dramatic gestures
• They are social with each other
• They are strong and colorful

Have I seen a peacock before?

I wish I had, but I've not had the opportunity to see one in real life.
But I've seen them in movies and shows.

Importance of peacock to man

• Peacocks are used by man for pest control since they feed on mice, insects and snakes..

• Their eggs are sold to make money or enjoyed by man

• Peacocks love to find their own food so it's easier for someone who rears a peacock

I love peacocks!

I have always loved peacocks for their beautiful colored feathers.
I've only read how they behave and haven't seen them so my only reason of liking them so much is because of their beauty.

I LO attempted the drawing of a peacock as required in the contest and below is what I could get out.
