Hello friends, this is my participation in the physics lesson in the community that was provided by @gentlesun. Below you can find my answers to all the homework questions that I gave to the best of my ability.

What is vector and scalar quantity

The vector quantities are the quantities with number values and magnitude.

While the scalar quantities are ones with no direction but has a number value and magnitude.

Give 4 examples in each

Scaler quantities

  • Distance
  • Speed
  • Mass
  • Time

Vector quantities

  • Force
  • Velocity
  • Displacement
  • Acceleration

What is resultant vector

Resultant vector is the result gotten from the combination of two or more vectors.

When can Pythagoras theorem be use in finding resultant vector of forces

Pythagoras theorem is only used when finding vectors that are inclined at 90° angle.

In general, vectors are added using how many methods, mention them

Two methods are used in summing up vectors and they are:

  • The triangle method and
  • The parallelogram method

If a man works 30km Eastward and then turn and work 45km Westward, what is his resultant vector?

Solution
C2 = a2 + b2
C2 = 302km + 452km
C2 = 900 + 2025
C2 = 2925
Finding the square root of 2925

C ~54.083

Thank you so much @gentlesun for this physics lesson. I'm sorry if I didn't get the answers correctly.

I invite @bossj23, @chimeroselam, @fortwis09 to submit their assignments.

Goodbye friends, see you all soonest.

Nice one you got here. Physics is actually interesting if you follow principles. This assignment is well defined and clear

Thanks dear, I did my best in the assigned task. Most likely that I got it correctly

It's nice not to be trained like this here. Our children have a lot to learn on the Steemit platform👍😇🙌

Yes, that's true. I have benefitted so much from the platform. Thank you so much

@subconsciousness, am glad u like it so we can invite u to join us if u want on our next lecture

Thank you for your kind invitation, 😇

You are welcome

Wow.

😍😍

Wow, you really got everything correctly.

Really...? Thanks 🙂

This was my best topic on physics. The pythogoras theorem is little wam.
You have to be confident in your answers dear. Thanks for sharing with us

Oh really, thank you dear. I love the calculations involved in physics when it's explained well to me, hehe

Yes dear. By a teacher that is free and approachable by students

Correct 👍

Yeah

So I believe that this lecture was explained well to u

Well, yes 🙂

That's very impressive, although u didn't get the last answer.
Keep it up

Ok thanks, I'll try harder next time

It's good to hear
