Challenge for week9:Draw an elephant

Greetings dear steemians in this great community of @steemkidss.
It's yet another week for us to showcase our drawing skills. for sure this challenge is making me a better artist, even my children are proud of me that I can draw.
This week we are drawing an elephant.

Materials
🔸 Plain white pape
🔸 Rubber
🔸 Pencil

Describe an elephant
An elephant is the biggest living animal. its head has a long trunk on it and large ears.
They are grey and their body hairs are limited and crusty.

What qualities does an elephant possess?
🔹Elephants are pregnant for 22months and that is almost 2years.
🔹They have a deep family pact. the female elephants lead the herd.
🔹 The males go their separate ways after some time.
🔹 Elephants eat a lot.
They can eat up to 500-600kgs of food a day.
🔹 Elephants are like humans with feelings. they get emotional when they lose their dear ones and they are compassionate.
🔹 The elephant's trunk is used to pick up very heavy and small things and so it's a very strong muscle.
🔹 The trunk is used for eating, breathing, smelling, sensing, communicating, and defense.

Have you seen one before? if yes, where?
I have seen one before at the zoo.

Are they important to man?
Yes, they are.
🔷 They contribute to the economic growth of the country/community through tourism.
🔷 Elephants help in the development and protection of the environment.
When the elephants are on the move they spread seedlings hence which helps in the growth of trees and plants.
🔷 Elephants are also used in some religions such as Hinduism, ganesh, and Buddhism as a representative their godly beliefs.

In conclusion

Though elephants are the biggest mammals. they are nice and can only be dangerous when provoked or disturbed.
They feed on vegetables and fruits but eat a lot so I guess that's why they are huge.
