Greetings dear fabulous family of @steemkidss community,I hope we are all good.
I grateful to the organisers of this contest for giving us something that is important in our lives to find out from as we share our own thoughts on what we understand about love.

What do you understand by love?
To me love is a feeling that binds people together.
They are are several types of love and people express love throughh several different ways for example through giving, love relationships and caring for one another.
In most cases live cannot be felt unless we put it into action or express it to the people that we love however some people confuse love with lust.

The Bible says in
1st Corinthians 13:4-7
"Love is patient and kind, it is not jealous or proud, love is not selfish or mild-mannered, love does not keep a record of wrongs, love is not happy with evil but happy with the truth, love never gives up."

Literally, love is forgiveness, humbleness, faithfulness and compassion.love is all.

Who can show love and why?
Everyone ought to show love.we are all supposed to show love to one another not only to people we love like family and friend but also to strangers and neighbours to make this a better place to live in.
When we show love to one another their is peace , harmony, forgiveness and togetherness within us.

Have you shown someone love, who did you do that to and how did the recipient feel?
I show love to my husband and children every day but I really love showing love to the orphanage homes and recreation centers because there you find so many innocent kids who are never experienced love because they do not know their parents and families.

I recently visited one recreation center and I showed love to them by giving them some few things and they were so happy it made me cry.
The children prayed for me and asked if I could visit them again.
It was so touching and made my heart full.

Has anyone shown love to you and how did you feel when love was shown to you?
I think the most generous love I have been shown is from my mother and my kids.
My kids have shown me love through small things that fill my heart with happiness.they have given me hugs when I dont expect them and have written for me letters expressing their love for me which melts my heart.

Express your love to someone in a practical way?

She was so happy

She was praying for me

Do you think love is a virtual that should be cultivated by all and be demonstrated in a practical way?

Of course love is virtual and it should be nurtured practically because love its self is a feeling that people get to feel when they are shown it to them practically.
They say actions speak louder if someone doesn't show that they love you or express it, you can never know, do let us show love by being kind, sharing, being selfless and forgiveness.

How did you learn to show love and when?
My mother was a tough one who always taught us the importance aspects of life and the first things we learnt was how to love and respect people.
She always told us to apologise for the wrongs we did to people in order to be forgiven and that's when we would keep loving them a d that was when I was in my primary one.
It has helped me as I grow and its the same thing that I instilled in my children.

How will the world look like if everyone cultivates this quality?
The world will be a beautiful place without jealous, fights, wrangles and misunderstandings.
It will be full of laughter, happiness, trust, togetherness and kindness.
Love makes life worthy of living and do everyone should love in order to receive love.

In conclusion
God is love and when we love God their is no space left for the devil to instill in us hate which cause people to fight among themselves.
So, let us live in Godly ways and love one another take this world a better place.
Love starts with you and me.
