During the monsoons, when the river drains and ponds fill up with water, boys from our village come down in groups to bathe. I like to bathe in the river.

The fun of taking a bath in the river is not available in a pea or tubewell at home. One of the fun things about bathing in the river is that everyone bathes in groups. Similarly, some of us boys went for a walk in a group by the side of the river and went there to bathe in the river with our opinion.
