Good Day everyone, it's such a privilege to see a beautiful day as this and we can't be excited enough, first of all, how are you all doing? As for me, I am great. Welcome to my blog as I will be participating in this contest hosted by @crowd1 and believe me, it will be an amazing down the memory lane.
Just as the contest topic "My Memory Childhood Tales" brings back a whole lot of tales from our elders and parents. Mine was the one my granny told me and till today it's been full of lessons and sometimes I get to talk to people, I share them with people, so permit me to take you down this memory lane.
Tears Of An Orphan
In a little town, there was an orphan named Emem who was often maltreated by her stepmother, she lost her mother just immediately after she was being put to birth and ever grew up to see his father very well but the stepmother was the one she lived with.
She had been enduring torture and ill-treatment right from when she lost her father. According to my granny, she was really hardworking, that she would spend the whole day working in the farm while her step siblings went to school. Sometimes, when she grows tired and unable to complete the farm task for the day, she will be beaten and denied food, some days she will even faint and resuscitate on her own.
She grew up to be a very beautiful, gorgeous lady despite all the harsh treatment she had been receiving from the stepmother. She was admired by everyone who comes across her, both old and young. Despite the fact she never went to school, but she was so knowledgeable that she do organizes class at the town hall for those in schools.
This her abilities made people think she has reincarnated maybe from the Maine world. To her, these accolades never meant anything to her, all she wanted was to be free from the ill-tempered mated on her by the stepmother. She will cry everyday asking God to help her out one day.
The prince was taking a stroll on a lonely path and noticed a beautiful young lady working tiredlessly in the farm,he paused for a while to admire the strength put into such hard job by a woman. He approaches her and she couldn't hold her happiness after being giving accolades by the Prince.
After that day, the Prince grew fond of her and she likewise. The Prince got her beautiful dresses that even made the stepmother jealous. They sometimes spend hours talking at moonlight. The Prince proposed to her and ofcourse was ready to marry her.
They got married and things was really hard with the stepmother after her inlaws outrightly laid claims on all the properties her husband had left for her. Meanwhile Emem was in the palace having the best of life. A day came Ememe decided to go visit the stepmother but was told she had been pursued out of the house and she now lives in the village hall.
She was moved with so much compassion and went there immediately, seeing the state of wellbeing the stepmother was, she made an appeal to the Prince to build a house for her stepmother and also sponsor her step siblings in school since they had dropped out of school. All these was done but her stepmother lived in a total regret, apologizing to Emem every opportunity she had to see her.
Moral Of The Story
• Treat people right even at their lowest
• Do not hesitate to help people when you have the opportunity to
• Always have a forgiving spirit as it opens great doors of opportunities.
I want to invite @emily08, @josepha and @wirngo to participate in this contest.
