Shaving my hair

Be transformed by making your mind over" is a word of motivation to start my day by examining the scriptures daily textbook, though I use a mobile device type.

Waking up in the morning, I need something inspiring to start my day, and the very topic I mentioned earlier said it all. The text talks about living a life that pleases our Creator. It's stated clearly that we cannot simply decorate our lives with a few good works. Instead, I need to examine the person I am deep inside and make any needed changes so that I can bring our life as close as possible to Jehovah’s standards.

Living a life that pleases our creator is very difficult because we are imperfect, but I learned that I need to keep working hard toward that goal. Instead of being influenced by bad people, I should let our creators' thinking influence my goals and decisions.

After my spiritual food, I prepared for work though the weather was cloudy. It is already 7 am. Going to work on Monday is always boring to me, I wish I could just stay back home and sleep. I used 30 minutes to prepare, and by 7:50, I was ready.

From home to the workplace takes me 40 minutes if I walk but 15 minutes if I use public transportation. I trek instead because the weather wasn't too clear, and I knew that people wouldn't come out early. At about 8: 30 am I arrived and was surprised that one had an open shop. I started sleeping in the environment and arranging the market outside. After shading the market outside, I also arranged inside the shop while waiting for people who would patronize me.

After a while, a customer called to arrange some drinks for him. I calculated his money while I packed the goods needed on one side. The goods were worth 62200, which he preferred to pay on transfer. After that, I decided to shave my hair. I brought out my clipper and sterilized it. I always shave my hair by myself because of the high cost of barbing hair in my area. How am I wasting a whole N1000 for barbing when I can do it on my own? I set up my phone camera as a back mirror while I held a mirror in front.

The results

I started the barbing by sterilizing the clipper, then I changed my shirt because of the hair, and then I used the size 4 comb first to lower the hair. I then used a size 2 comb to blend the sides. Trust me it came out perfectly. After shaving, I did my hairline while marking it with powder, and then I did the same to the back.

My boss came and she brought a portable bag, which is actually what I wanted. It was fried rice and jello rice on one plate. The food was heavily loaded, and without wasting time, I started eating. I decided to divide it into two, eating the fried rice first while I will eat the jellof rice later. But unfortunately, after eating the fried rice, though I was satisfied, I couldn't stop until I finished the whole plate. That's to say, I have consumed dinner and lunch in one sitting.

The funny part is that my friends were not around, and I was happy because I wouldn't be dragging food with anybody. After eating it, I logged in to my Steemit while promoting the new chatroom feature on Telegram, where you can access your account, ask any questions, and chat with other Steemians. While still engaging my friend called me to help him refill some palm oil. He wants to package and send it out abroad to his aunty. I paused what I was doing and joined him, and we refilled the palm oil with new gauges. We bought some sugar cane to spice up the moment, though I acted as if I didn't like sugar care. But guess what, I nearly finished everything.

The market was somehow slow because we didn't make enough sales till evening when I closed, but trust me, I had a good day. A little summary of our day is:

• Living a good life is the most important thing in life(morning text).
