The Diary Game [02/06/2024] Attending Newbies Hangout Organized By @mesola

Happy new week to everyone here and across the globe, I believe you've started your day well and I wish you all round fruitfulness in all you do.

HOW I SPEND MY YESTERDAY

I woke up very early that morning at about 5:30am since it was a Sunday, I did my morning prayer and then I play the song we are to minister as a choir in church on my phone as i went about doing my morning chores till i finished up dressing and get ready for church.

As I was done I called the church bus driver to find out if I can wait and enter the church bus but he said that I should find my way to church that the church bus is faulty but they have paid for a small bus to carry few people from far distance place.

So I went outside the road and pick a bus that is going my direction and went straight to church. I was early, as I got there the Sunday school lesson was still going on, after that the worship session and then the praises joined too.

Everything went on smoothly, till our pastor mounted the pulpit and preached on a wonderful topic: All Round Fruitfulness with the text taken from the book of (Deuteronomy 28:4). It was supposed to be a long teaching but he made it short so that he can take time and pray and bless us.

After the prayer and he prayed for us and then share the benediction. So I decided to take few pictures before going home.

I got home in time, that was around 1:15pm, I was hungry since I don't normally eat to church in the morning, so I removed soup from the fridge warm it and make garri and eat first before I rested.

After I was done eating I rested a little, when it was 4pm I woke up and start preparing for the newbies hangout, as I was dressing up I had a called from @tripple-e asking me if I've moved already and I said no that I'm preparing so so said that she is on her way to the venue so I told her I will be joining soon.

In few minutes I was done and I stepped out to pick a bus that will take me there. I got there, as it was easy for me to locate the venue since it was just by the roadside. But before I entered the place I snapped few pictures to see how beautiful I was 😜.

As I stepped into the hall everywhere was filled up as our leader @ngoenyi was already seated and our dear organizer @mesola was there also and the host of others, plenty of newbies the ones i know and the ones I do not know, I was so excited to see all the beautiful and handsome faces there.

I came and meet as @ngoenyi was giving some advice to the newbies and telling us how to navigate through Steemit, she talked about being consistent in posting even making one post a day, that it will help us improve our reputation.

She even used herself as an example to advice us, she told us how she started Steemit, that was far back in year 2020 but now she has achieved so many good things through Steemit.

The truth is, I've learned so many things from @ngoenyi and @mesola that yesterday and I am very happy that I came if not I would have regret it. So many questions were asked and it was all answered by @ngoenyi and @mesola, a clear explanation of things were given to us concerning things that we didn't understand well.

After all the that, we have merriment, eating of rice and chicken vegetables source and step it down with chill soft drink.

It was really an enjoyment session, as some people ate and even collected extra because the food was plenty and enough to go round everyone twice.

So after the whole fun and merriment, we decided to take a group photograph, though some people had already left due to their distance and also because the rain was giving sign of falling. So the few of us that were left took the photoshoot.

After the photo session we all went to our different destination, I stopped by my friends place since I didn't want to go home that time as it was still early that was around 6pm. Getting to my friend's place she was preparing to go out to Tropicana Mall with her daughter and they asked me to join them, that was how i went out for another enjoyment again.

Getting there, and my friend picked the items she wanted to buy , then we decided to take some photograph there before going back home.

After the snapping to our satisfaction we now left the place and went back home, they all came directly to my place to enjoyed the juice and biscuits they bought from the Mall.

They stayed for like another 1 hours before the decided to leave since the little girl was already sleepy and the mother said they should start going because she won't be able to carry her daughter of she should sleep.

As the left I just went in to the bar and freshen up before I sleep, since I was so tired amd exhausted to start writing anything, i decided to wait till today.

Conclusion

I just wanna say a very big thank you to our organizer @mesola for hosting us so well and also to our leader @ngoenyi for finding time to come out and talk to us even in her tight schedule, thank you for all you do, we really appreciate it.
