Weekly Contest 21 || The Diary Game || Washing my hair and also going to the salon to plait it after returning back from church

Happy Sunday my beloved steemians kids and parents in the house. Your girl @missyleo is here and I hope you didn't forget me, especially in your prayers today because I trust you all went to church. I'm glad to participate in this diary contest that's being organized by our dear admin @m-fdo, thank you ma'am.

HOW I SPENT MY DAY

Today was actually a busy day for me as I did not even have time to take a little rest to calm my brain. It was from one activities to another and now I am having headache 🙆.

Morning Period

I woke up a bit late today this morning at about 6am, is not as if I slept late last night, that I will say, it's because of that, I just think it's because of the sweetness of the early morning sleep that normally comes very sweet on some people's eyes around that 5am, I believe you understand what I mean😜.

When I noticed that the clock was running faster, I stepped up my speed of preparation to church so that I won't run late. Before I started with the preparation, I did my morning rituals, by saying some words of prayer to my creator then after I picked up my phone, go to my music file and played a song, I played the song we are to minister as a choir in church, I placed it on repeat so that it will carry me throughout the preparation process.

God so kind I was able to finish up on time, after dressing up, I wanted to be angry that I will be delayed again because of tieing my gele (headtie) since the choristers were asked to tie a black gele on any native wear for the Sunday service. But my God didn't allowed me to be angry nor delay, immediately I placed the gele on my head, a simple style came across my mind, so I tied it very simple without delay, then I stepped out for church.

Arriving the church promises I meet two of my choir girls waiting outside the church for me to come help them tie their gele. Whereas one of them knows how to tie gele well, but today it failed her because she was complaining bitterly on how she has been trying to tie it since in the house yet it didn't come out well.

They did not allowed me to go inside the church to drop my bag, so I spend about 20 minutes outside tieing their gele for them. When I finally went inside the church, the Sunday school class was over and it was time for worship, I gladly joined in the worship session.

During the praise session, I was busy dancing and enjoying the present of God, that was when I heard a tap on my back and when I turned it was my Pastor's daughter, telling me that her mother says I should please come and help tie her gele, that was how I missed the praise session and went and help her out.

The church service was so awesome and so interesting because of the topic my pastor preached on, titled: Walk In Love. So many points were raised and emphasis was on us to love one another and as the Holy Bible has commanded us to extend that same love to our enemies.

After the whole sermon, prayer was made for everyone by our pastor and service was dismissed. Before I went back home I had to take some few pictures with my seat partner.

Afternoon Period

When I arrived home from church, I removed my left over soup from the freezer, kept aside to defrost while I use that time to loosen my old hairstyle. Then I later go warmed my soup, made garri and then ate my first meal of the day which serve as my lunch.

Sorry I did not remember to snap it, maybe because I was so hungry.

After eating I switched into washing of my hair, I like washing my hair in the house by myself since I have the shampoo and the conditioner. And secondly I normally used a different set of hair treatment from the ones the salon uses.

Evening Period

Before I could finished washing my hair it was already evening 6pm. I cream it so well, put all the necessary treatment and I applied omega growth leave-in conditioner to help soften my 4C type hair before leaving to the salon.

I did not want to plait any hair that will take time because of the time I went there. So I asked my stylist to plait me corn-row (All-back weaving).

At the salon there were too many customers waiting for their hair to be done and they wanted a style that will take time, so my stylist asked them to hold on while she plait me sharply before focusing on theirs.

And truly, my hair style dis not take her much time as she was able to finished it within an hours and I paid her the stimulated amount she bargained for.

As I got back home from the salon, I went straight to the bathroom and took my bath because I was feeling heat from my head to my toe and I was also having headache.
I was wondering what could caused it since my stylist hand does not pain me, my mind told me that it's because when was rushing on how to finish up with my hair so she could plait other customers and it ended up paining my head.

After taking a cold bath, I even poured the water on my head too to calm the headache, then I took paracetamol two tablets.

I was hungry and since there was no food in the house, I send my neighbors daughter fried potatoes and chicken by the road side to eat for my dinner.

After eating, I picked up my phone and log into my steemit account to make this post, when I'm done with writing this post I will retire to bed.
