I really want to read from parents and even from children as well. # Getting started # So a child in my school was caught bringing a white wine in a soft drink bottle. He even mixed the drink with the wine. Another student noticed it in class and told him not to take it. He obeyed at first but later took it, opened and got it close to his mouth. When the student not, he told him again not to drink it and feeling ashamed, he didn't dropped the bottle but picked up a fight and keep shouting at the top of his voice at the person that told him not to drink and this happens to be the head boy. # The action # This act made the school's headboy to report to the school authority and sanctions were given to the person who brought it and those who drank it even to those who just took it to the nose.

Problem begins

This has led to do many other situations and as the prefect coordinator, I decided to have a meeting with the prefect of the school first. This became necessary as we started having factions, opposition and friction making the head boy feel he didn't do the right thing and it needed to be addressed.

The meeting

At about 12:00pm today, we converge in my laboratory to air our minds and look at the way forward. I noticed 65% percent of the students were against the head boy and then I ask them what they would have considered the appropriate way to have handled the situation that day and they in unison said the head boy should have talked to them instead of going to report. I ask what happens after talking and no body is listening, they replied that he should have ignored it.
Was the head boy wrong??
How else would you have responded to that situation??
