Good day to you everyone, This is another week for engagement challenge, and I am happy to join in this community , my name is Oluwatimileyin and I will be participating in the contest The Joy Of Parenthood.
Our parents sacrificed alot for us , all they ever want is to see us succeed, and nothing gives them more happiness than seeing their children grow up the way they have wanted it.
What joys are experienced by parents for becoming parents?
One of the best feeling that parent experience is the joy of success, it's the joy of seeing there children from time to time, the joy of seeing another part of you.
Parent take it as their duty to reproduce, and the joy started from when a child is birthed, and this continues as they are happy to take care of the child from when she's young and she keeps growing in the manner at which the parents had wanted.
This was an image of when my elder sister was called to bar, this is an unbounding happiness to my parents, they were finally happy and joyful that there daughter became a lawyer just as they wanted her to be, this is a feeling that can't be matched by any other things.
What does this joy prompt them to do for their kids and to what extent are they ready to carry out their responsibilities towards their kids?
This joy brings alot of things, as a parent , it is in their instincts to always want to provide and protect their children, but seeing their child doing what they had wanted to do, or becoming whom they wanted her to be , this prompt more joy for them, and they would always want to do more, to see more success from her.
My mom is an amazing woman, she would always want us to have everything, from time to time, she would always ask us what we need, she never want her children to be unsatisfied, she would go to any length to make sure her children are happy and well kept.
Parents always wants the best for there kids, they won't mind to strive through, but as long as they provide for there children, this is enough happiness for them.
Does this joy increase as the child grow? What can contribute to the joy parents experience?
Yes, this joy increases as time goes on, the joy of parent is to see their children becoming what they wanted them to become, my mom has always want my sister to become a lawyer ever since she was a kid, and Glory be to God, she did , and that's the same with most of my sister's, and this is enough joy for her.
When children are growing with a full manner of society , when they are been raised in the perfect manner, and the children didn't go astray, this is enough blessings for the parents, they feel fulfilled, they understand that they have tried in providing what is best for their children , and this is their main goal, and this serve as enough joy for them.
Do you wish to be a parent or are you already one? Do you expect the same joy or are you already experiencing joy as a parent?
Yes, I so much wish to be a parent, I am still young and I am not married yet, but I have a lot of loves for kids.
Becoming a parent is one of the greatest thing I am looking forward to, because I am certain I am going to fill my children with much love, I have always relates with kids, and sometimes I go out of my way to make sure kids are okay, so I am very certain I will do more for my child.
I have always said children are a blessing, they are gifts from God, they are what makes us natural, they brings the emotions stability in us, and right from time, the parent instinct has always been to provide and protect for their children.
What hopes of happiness do you want as a parent for your child later?
I am looking forward to a lot of things when I become a parent, but my hopeful thing is that I wanted to raised my children in the Christianity way, and I would love to see them bouyant and reliant.
I would like to let my children have whatever they might need, I look forwarding to relating with them, I would love to be their friend, I would to be as close to them than any other person, I am hopeful that they would always come to me whenever they are bothered or confused.
I would love to be the best parent to them, and I Iook forward to doing this, providing and protecting my children at all cost.
Conclusion
Children are a blessing, they are every parents happiness, l they make a home fruitfull and there appearances brings joy to parents on every occasion.

This is so lovely post, full of warm feelings and kindness. I always thought and convinced that only caring family can give the children confidence, the feeling of being loved and also to make them happy and successful in their own life. Often we encouraging our children even if they did something but it was not successful they need a bit of shoulder and just a hug.

@negro-bby I see that even if you don't have children, you know very well what it means to do so since your parents have been an example for you and your siblings.
Where they have put the best of themselves to raise them, educate them and guide them along the best path so that they can be good men and women.
It is that your sister has graduated as a lawyer, it is surely an immense happiness that they feel, since the happiness and well-being of her children is their happiness

I support this idea as the best thing that can ever happen to a parent, having children that are still following your direction even when they have grown up.
This is because the opposite will mean a lot of pains to the parent when the child switch to a wayward path.
