My Pictures, My Memories Contest WK #09👉My Picture Album Is Safe With Steem

Memories are what they are- memories!! They can be remembered at any time. But the feelings of those memories are enhanced when pictures that depicts them are available. Like I said I'm my last entry that I have a lot of pictures to save here. The ones I am about to share are cherished pictures and moment, infact, they go beyond moments to the stage of life that I have passed through as a mother of two kids.

It also represent an event that we attended as a family along with other family members. It is a wedding of my husband's Uncle's daughter and the whole family were present both immediate and extended. I am presenting just 3 of those pictures. We had traveled from Aba, our then city of residence to Umuahia, the place of the event and we passed the night in a hotel as we went a day before the wedding day.

This picture was taken on November 3, 2018 and it was taken with my old phone, I can't even remember the make. I had asked one of my brothers in-law to help us take the picture.

Those in the picture include my husband, our kids and I. We took this picture on the wedding day after we had dressed up for the wedding but still at the hotel premises.

One of the memorable thing about this picture is that that was the last time my daughter made her hair. The hair style she is carrying was beautiful on her but it was also painful. She asked that her hair be cut after this because she had felt pain. But now, she is longing to start making her hair again but she has to wait until after her high school.

When this picture was taken, my daughter was 9 years old while my Son was +7 years. You can see how small they were then. Imagine the posing! It's was really a moment to remember.

Talking about the cloth we are putting on there, we all had this animal skin material. I mean the spotted material. Mine is skirt, though not visible. My daughter has hers too as a skirt but it didn't fit her and so we decided that she wears this one that almost look like ours. Till today, my own cloth is still available but my kids have outgrown theirs.

This picture was taken the day before the wedding but at the same city. We decided to do some shopping and to eat out there too before going back to the hotel. We had gone there with my brother in-law and he was the one that took this picture with his phone. It was truly a wonderful moment as we hadn't had this opportunity again to stay with him. I and my husband is at the back, followed by my son and then my daughter and my brother in-law. That moment was a cherished one.

This was taken in the morning before we finally went to the weeding location. The one beside me is my brother in-law too. You can see where the dark skin that my daughter took come from. My father in-law is also dark anyways and there are also dark people from my own side.

This my brother in-law came the morning of the wedding to meet us at the hotel before we take off. The picture was taken by my brother in-law too, the younger one. It was indeed memorable!

Conclusion

I am glad to have taken part in this contest. And I have shared some of my cherished moments in pictures. These are not all.
