My Pictures, My Memories Contest WK #07 👉My Picture Album Is Safe With Steem.

Pictures are great way of keeping cherished memories. No matter how long they have lasted, they remind us of the events they represent.

I cherish pictures a lot and as such, I take every opportunity to take pictures. I try as much as possible to have pictures of my moments.

Sad to say that my wedding pictures are lost due to humidity though some are in my husband's village as I took them their before relocating to my current city of residence.

I have managed to get some of my polytechnic pictures. You can't believe how I looked their. I went to Facebook to get them.

The 3 pictures I am about to upload are all pictures of my polytechnic days when women were girls. Then, my major concern was just to study, read, solve account past questions and act like a banker.

This picture was taken by a professional photographer in my school at Abia State Polytechnic Aba. It was taken the day my department had a seminar and we invited some ICAN members to come and speak to us and encourage us as students. We wore out department dress code which was sky blue shirt and black suit.

There in the picture are my course mates who liked to move with me whereas only 3 there are my close friends. We move together.

This picture reminds me of that day as I had that ambition to become an accountant though I haven't realized it yet. I am the one in front, followed by my 3 close friends and two others are twins in my class. You can see how corporate we looked. See how skinny I was then. Hahaha, tell me, then and now, which one is better?

I also got this picture from Facebook. In school back then, we were known as avid readers. We are either found in the school Library or having lectures. We are always with one of our favorite textbook especially if we just finished the lecture.

Here in the picture, you can see us with our taxation textbook that was written by one of our lecturers. He also handles the course. I loved taxation a lot and there was where I learned about tax avoidance and tax evasion. Tax avoidance is not a criminal offense as one just have to look for loopholes in tax laws and take advantage of it, whereas tax evasion is a criminal offense as one blatantly disobey the tax laws. It makes sense to me and I have been applying the principle of tax avoidance where necessary.

This last picture is also one of those days we just finished lectures. This time around, it was GNS 101, an English course. You can see the textbook on our hands. I am the one in front along with my 3 other friends who are still my best friends.

These ones are still my friends till tomorrow and all of us are married. But they won't join steemit with me as they are into one or two businesses but we are in touch with each other. Though we didn't fulfill our dream of becoming chartered accountants, but we have kept moving forward. But all of us got the opportunity to do our industrial training in one bank or the other. We all did well in school.

To show how close we were in school, during exams, they will leave their houses and come to mine to stay with me. We read together and prepared for the exams together. Sometimes what we are were provided by other students who wanted to seat close to us during exams.

School days! What a memory!

Conclusion

Saving these pictures here has been my dream and today, I have started. I still have a lot to save here. Expect more! See you all in my next entry. Cheers!
