The Background

Have you ever wondered why some users are earning more than the others? Have you ever thought why your publications are not visible? Can you go the extra mile to make your post more visible?

It has been noted that those who are willing to make sacrifices receive more favour than others. This means that when you are willing to lose something, it might be possible that you can gain more. For insurance, it is better to gain 75% of something than to gain 100% of nothing.

In this my mentorship post, i will like to share why it looks as if some users are getting more supports than others. There is something they are doing that you may not have been doing.

That is exactly what most users are doing, they are burning steem to help reduce the quantity of steem in the market and thus, stabilize the price of steem or push the price of steem higher than what it is at the moment.

• One of the things I have observed about burning steem is that, it has made the price of steem not to go below certain price. Instead, it will remain where it is. But in the long run, a lot will be achieved.

• Another thing is that, burning steem and using the hashtag #burnsteem25 can make your post more visible to the curators, thus standing more chance to receive upvotes. A lot of curators visit that hashtag to support users who are using that tag and who have really burned steem on their post.

• Even steemcurator01 and steemcurator02 are looking out for those users who have burned steem. You might be the lucky one to receive a surprise upvote from them.

But that hashtag #burnsteem25 can only be used when you have done what I am about to show you below. You dare not use it without doing it because it will mean that you are abusing it and the curators might run away from supporting your publications. You won't want that to happen, not so?

Alright, let's get to the man thing.

Set Your Post To 25% to @null

If you had taken your time to write quality article that is steemexclusive (articles that are only meant to be posted on steem and not on any other look-alike social media platform), and your article is plagiarism-free (you have not copied other people's article without properly adding the source), you have not used artificial intelligence to write your article (that is, you wrote the article by yourself), and you are willing to share the rewards you will get on that post, then set your post to 25% to @null before hitting the post button. See what I mean below

Step one👉 head on to the advanced settings just above the post button as shown on the screenshot below

Step two👉 click on it to share your reward. Ordinarily, when you earn on any publication you post, you are getting all your supposed rewards at the end of every 7 days when the post pay out. But now, you will like to share your reward to @null which means that you are ready to make sacrifices to contribute to steemgrowth. See the screenshot below on how to share it

• Click add account

Then type 25 on the first small box and type null on the second box as shown on the screenshot below

If you like, you can add another account. You can add any percentage to the community account like @steemkidss to help grow the community account. So it is possible to add more than one account. Simply click add account and then type in the percentage and the account username that you want to share your reward with.

Step three👉 click save and you are all set

Please take note that it is after following these steps that you are eligible to use the hashtag #burnsteem25. Do not use it if you have not set it else it will mean that you are abusing the hashtag

After you have done these things, then the rewards that will come to you when that post pays out will be 75% of whatever you must have earned on that particular post.

It means that if will need to keep setting percentage each time you are writing an article. It is not automatic. You have to set it yourself everytime you want to share your reward.

Does it Guarantee Upvote or support?

No!. On steemit, upvotes are not guaranteed. No one is to be held accountable for not upvoting your publications. But you can go the extra miles by doing what I have just suggested above and thus stand a chance to receive support. Even if you don't receive on the one you had set earlier, keep doing it, perhaps, you might receive a surprise up oye on any of those articles.
