Hello my wonderful and esteemed kids lovers, trust you are all doing great? Welcome back to my diary for the day. I am so much happy to see all my family members in steemit. What a joy it is! Please see how it all went

MY DIARY

I woke up by 3:35am as always. Yes, just recently, waking up by that time became my routine. I can't explain but I know that steemit and my activities has a lot to contribute. But all the same, it is not bad at all.

I quickly went online and did my job in the newcomers community, I also checked on other communities and chat groups. Did some work before finally doing house chores.

We planned to visit the farm to see how things are. So as soon as we were done with house chores and family morning worship, the kids went to the office while I and my husband, along with by boy went to the farm.

AT THE FARM

At the farm, we discovered that it needs to be weeded. The cassava has grown so well and so it needs the final weeding before it will be ready for harvesting.

Then, I checked on the pumpkin leaf and saw that I need to pluck them, they had grown. That is exactly what I did without hasitation.

You can see me in the picture, plucking them. You can also see the weeds all around.

We planned to get someone to do the weeding. I will not have the time and I am not even sure of the strength to do so. Haha 😂😂.

We didn't spend much time there because I needed to quickly go to the office as I had a lot to accomplish.

My kids had been disturbing to join steemit. To them, there is nothing more remaining because they have studied and learn most things in the platform. They even go out for meetup with us and help me do lots of things. I saw reasons with them. Not only that, they can create stories of their own. Infact, my daughter has a story she has developed and has been disturbing me to help her publish. I think it is high time they come in and show their talents and as well learn starting from this stage.

They already chose their Usernames long ago so it wasn't a problem.

AT THE OFFICE

On getting to the office, I assisted my daughter who already signed up a day ago to join curation trail and be a Verified member of other communities. She wrote both her introduction post and achievement 2 the same day she signed up. You can see the zeal. Well, their mother is a greeter in the newcomers community and as such, I did the needful. But she followed all rules. No sentiment at all in business. 😂 I am sure by now you will like to know her username?

After assisting her, my son started worrying me about his own sign up. He had already hand written his introduction post ever since he learnt that her sister had signed up. I hasitated but on seeing how persistent he was, I caved in. Signed him up and allowed him to type the introduction post he had written. This time without assistance because they already know a lot.

He finally published it and it was verified. @wizzyboy3is his username

My worry now is how we are going to cope because hmmm, everyone will be thinking of what to write and publish. Depending on the contest, everyone will like to participate. For example, steemfoods community has an ongoing contest about indomie nodles recipe. Since it is simple, everyone want to participate and use the kitchen at the same time. See the pictures below so that you will understand what I mean

The kitchen was crowded but we all made it. Everyone sponsored and prepared theirs separately. Just follow them, you will see their participation. My son, @wizzyboy3 is clamoring to prepare his own, hmm. But my husband, @benton3 told him that they will prepare theirs by weekend. So the girls did theirs. Expect our entries. My kids will really learn a lot.

It was a beautiful moment. At the right time, we then went to the market to purchase items for the food contest. After our family worship evening, we prepared the noddles and that was our dinner.

CONCLUSION

Charity they said, begins at home. My kids are going to benefit from this steemit and steemkids community, they will also make their own contributions. It is nice to see steemit become my household name. We will showcase more, just stay tuned to our blogs. Thank you all for reading through.
