I am really excited about this #contest My Two Greatest Flaws And My Two Greatest Virtues. I honestly appreciate you @alejos7ven for organizing this contest and to all the @steemkidss team, you are doing a great job.

According to the creation story, God made man in His own image and gave us all we needed to live a good life (virtues) but we lost some of these as a result of our disobedience (flaws).
To this extent, imperfection set into our lives.

This contest's topics is more like good news and bad news. Permit me to take the bad news first 😊😊

Flaws are weaknesses, faults, indiscipline, imperfection etc.

All these do not make a person rather, they mar a person. And unfortunately, every human being has one flaw or the the other.

Your flaws are your short comings because they cause you to fail and portray your ineffectiveness as a human being.

1. Anger😠😠😠

This unpleasant emotion or feeling of annoyance.🙄🙄 I get angry whenever I feel that I've been mistreated. Once I am angry, it's a sign that something isn't right and some of those things are dirtiness, dishonesty and laziness. All these piss me up and I just can't hold myself when I see them.

My own anger is verbal. I just talk, talk, talk and sometimes I scream so as to drive home my point. But guess what?? I usually develop headache at the end of the day thus, I needed a stop.

Hmmmm...I have been trying my best to fight this flaw. Thank God for the gift of children and teaching. I have really been able to control it to a certain level but that does not mean that I won't change it for anyone that ignites the fire unnecessarily.

1. I trust too easily🤔🤔

Trusting too much is another flaw that I have tried a lot to combat but I still can't let go. This has really put me in lots of trouble and debt and I am trying seriously to stop or at least reduce it.

I don't know why but I believe everyone should be given benefits of doubt.
I don't believe people can fabricate lies just to gain favour or earn pity.

Like right now I have some debts that I have to pay because I stood in as a witness and the persons who borrowed these funds are no where to be found.😭😭😭
Their phone numbers do not connect any more. I really need a change of heart. May God help me.

Now, the good news💃💃💃

A virtue is a quality, a trait that is good morally. Virtues are commendable qualities. They encourage you and help to gear you towards moral excellence.

Self Discipline or Self Control

I have this ability to control myself or do things without help or instructions from anyone.

This was instilled in us by our mum and then the church. I am really grateful to them because I have been able to achieve a lot and also a lot in my life.

I have this willpower that once I set my mind on something, I will complete it no matter the circumstances surrounding it.

An example was when I was the university. I almost dropped out when I lost my dad and their was no help from anyone. I was determined not to drop from school so, I pray to God for a job that would pay me and still allow me go to school. He granted me one and I had to work to support myself and family and still went to school.
Yes, Determination is another word for it.

1. Contentedness

I am satisfied with what I have. I try as much as possible not to be burdened by what others have. I always believe that what is mine would come to me. I'd rather work hard and pray for it than to beg or borrow.
I try to stay in my little environ and cut my clothes according to my cloth.
If I am owing a person, I totally avoid that person until am able to pay back. This is never a good experience for me, so I try to avoid borrowing or owning.
When some of my friends or relatives are showing off or bragging about their stuff, I quietly excuse myself or change the topic to avoid embarrassment.

In conclusion, we all have our flaws and virtues, we should just try to balance them so as to live a good life.
