My childhood dreams and aspirations @nurdeen

Good morning from my end fellow steamians, am very happy to write about my childhood dreams. Children are needed to be guided to choose their career in life. Every person has his or her dream to achieve in life from childhood to the end of his life. This is an exciting topic to deliberate on it. Parents can sometimes determine their children carrier by observations and capabilities of the child.

When you were still small, what did you dream of having or becoming in the future?

I started schooling in the early 2000s and my dream was to become a medical doctor, pilot, lawyer and bank owner in the whole of my life. As a child anything I see nice I thought of becoming that. As I had nobody to guide me achieve my dreams or help me identify my capabilities. And I thought they were the highest paid job. As time goes on I realize that, this is childish. I then realize that my work must be something that makes me happy and stable in life. When I was a child I love playing video games and computers. I then realize that the right work in my life is to become a computer scientist.

Have you realized it? If yes, who assisted you to realize it? Or are you still hoping to realize it?

Dreaming in life is the complexity and miserable part in your life. Dreams are not so easy to accomplish. So many obstacles and shortcomings on it. Extra work must put on before you can realize that your dream has come true. From the time my mind changed to become a computer scientist, I had to learn on my own as at the time of junior/secondary high school. I remembered my childhood dreams and say not all dreams are to achieve. My dream has not been achieved but with prayers and hard work it would realized soon.

Is it good to have dreams and aspirations?

It is so good to dream in life as a human. Dreaming determine the path of your destination. It helps build and mold you to fit in society.

What can you advice the younger about dreams and aspirations?

It is good to dream in life. From childhood you need a very good person to help you choose what you are capable of doing in life. Dreams start from the early ages of a person, which he needs to be guided and counsel correctly. Children must be guided to choose the right dreams that will help him and the society as a whole.
