Contest: How I Feel When I See A Child Smile 😊!

With a warm and contagious smile on my face I say good day to you all dear steemians in the Steem Kids & Parents Community where kid's affair is paramount. Smile is a contagious disease that can easily pass from one person to another, and in the case of kids they are the most to contact smile. A close attention to a kid, reveals much more about their smiles.

Among the source of inspiration I have, my little boy seems to cap it all. I intend to write on this contest topic since two days ago, but somehow I could not get the motivation to do so because for the past two days he woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and when that happens you hardly get his attention till he leaves for office with the mother. But this morning, I tried putting him at ease, he took his bath and get dressed without any cry, so when I see them off to get a bike, I smiled at him and he reciprocated, there and then I took the shot.

✓ what is the reason why he or she is smiling at the moment?

Like I earlier said, children needs attention, without it you don't get the best of them. Kids smiles for various reasons which may not be generalized. I tried spending some quality time to play 'hi-5' game with him and at such times he smiles a lot, but due to life's struggles, the time seems reduced. This morning, while in the carrier with the mother, I look at him, raise my hand towards him for hi-5 and smile, before I knew it, he smiles back. That becomes the reason for his smile.

✓ how do you feel when you see him or her smiling?

Each time I see him smile, I feel awesome, waoh and a sense of fulfillment. No wonder our savior Jesus Christ said in one of his sermon that the kingdom of God belongs to such ones (children), this is because they are so innocent, and in their innocence, they smile without any reservation. So each time I see the innocent smile from my boy, it takes away my worries and I feel contented.

✓ what can you do or what have you done to contribute to his or her smiles?

To contribute to his innocent smiles, I do try spending quality times with him. And most time that I am occupied, I make it up with a tender pecks and he smiles while looking at me leaves.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I really appreciate your effort in putting on the thinking cap to bring such a sensitive topic to the community's contest ground. To the parents, it is also a wake up call to pay more attention to their kids and by extension any kid around them, this will help to know what, when and how to put smiles on the faces of the kids.
