Hello steemkids community. It is my honour to participate in this contest. The topic is a very delightful one.

I do have a kid that loves me. That kid is my 6 year old Cousin. Her name is Chiamaka. She is the first child of my uncle. She is a very adorable kid. She is hyperactive and she talks a lot. Also, she is a very smart kid. Sometimes, some people feel she is too smart for her age.

However, I love the fact that she is that smart. She is a very caring and obedient girl. She just has a way of making everyone she comes in contact with to love her. There is never a dull moment whenever I'm with her.

Why she loves me

I can't really give a particular reason why she loves me. We've been close since she was an infant. I remember when I held her in my arms for the first time at the hospital when she was born. I almost shed a tear. She was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen. That was a pretty remarkable moment for me. We've been really close ever since. I get her chocolate everytime I visit. She loves chocolate a lot. We also play a lot. We could be playing for hours and she wouldn't get tired.

I help her do her school assignments, I also teach her new words, how to spell them and how to read. I teach her math as well. She loves it when I teach her because I make her understand it better.

How she shows her love for me

She is always excited whenever I come around. She would always run to meet me at the gate entrance to welcome me. Then she would demand that I carry her which I always do. When she was very little, she didn't like it when other people carried her, especially people she wasn't familiar with. I was the exception, she always loved when I carried her.

She also sings for me. Her voice is just magical. Her singing could make you forget about your worries for the moment.

How I feel about her love and how I reciprocate it

I feel ecstatic about her love. Having the love of a kid is just soothing. For me, the love my cousin shows me is special and I cherish it very much.

I reciprocate her love by trying to be there for her as much as I can. Even when I'm far away and can't visit, I speak with her on phone often. I also get her toys and other gifts.
Whatever makes her happy and helps her grow in every aspect, I try in my capacity to do it.

Conclusion

I love her so much and I know that she loves me too. My greatest wish is that she grows up to become an amazing woman who achieves everything she aims to achieve in life. I know she will do great things, and thankfully, she has a wonderful family to support her.
