HOW TO RAISE A GIRL-CHILD

In this post, I'm going to give you relevant information on how to raise a girl-child. Hope you'll find it interesting to read. Come with me let's start.

Raising a girl-child in a competitive society like ours where the dominance of male folk has become a way of life is very challenging. Our society seems to place premium on the relevance of a boy-child, negating the significance of the female. This relegation seems to affect negatively how a girl-child is raised. Whatever the societal belief is, it is generally observed that raising a girl-child unlike a boy, demands a different strategy and extra effort.

Right from the stage of a toddler, a girl-child needs extra wisdom if she must be raised to a useful adulthood. Ways of raising a girl-child to a responsible adulthood are not far-fetched

A female child needs special care and attention. Unlike a male child who could be stronger even at birth, a female child needs extra care and attention. From feeding to general body maintenance, a female child is different because of their body structure that necessitates extra care. Some male children may not be closer to the mother like their female counterparts. This is why mothers must focus attention more right from birth in raising them.

Aside from this, a girl-child needs extra care than a male. This is because female children are vulnerable to societal vices such as rape, violence, sexual harassment and the like. With this consciousness, mothers shouldn't expose them to a hostile environment that would mar their growth. Knowing where your daughter is from time to time is a key factor in helping them escape dangerous environment.

Furthermore, a girl-child is more difficult to maintain. This is because as she grows into teenage, she will need to look nice and beautiful. She will need to do make up. When parents are conscious of this phase of life and its paraphernalia, they would not be exposed to getting money form male friends who may want them to pay back in kind. Every parent must provides for their daughters' basic needs while they live with them.

The advantages of raising a girl-child outweigh its shortcomings. First, a female child pays back positively to the parents more than her male counterpart. Female children these days turn out to be their parents' helpers. While most male children become thorn on the flesh of their parents while living with them, female children comfort their parents in many circumstances.
Although, a lot of challenges accompany the raising of a girl-child, the benefits of such effort are myriad.
