Hello, lovely people of this community. I come to present my entry for @ngoenyi for steemit unforgettable surprise. Thanks to @steemkids for hosting this lovely contest.
Steemit is full of surprises. Every day is a new day, every user prays for surprises. You make a post, go offline, and come back expecting to see a notification. You don’t stop there; you wish that notification is either @blooming01 or steemcurator01. This is such a lovely experience, especially when after checking it isn’t a vote but a comment. We all have our experiences and I wish to share my unforgettable experience with you.
There was a time on steemit whereby I will make at least two posts a day. I am a writer. I write with precision. I always do my best to produce quality content. For three weeks, I haven’t received any upvotes on my post to even reach 1.00$. I kept writing but nothing was changing. I was frustrated, wanted to give up. Can you imagine I thought maybe it was my profile picture? I had to remove it. Ha-ha. One day on my usual rounds around communities, I met a contest which was “What are your first steps in steemit.” It was organized by @steemitnursery. I saw it as an opportunity to express myself to steemcurator01. I was among the first to submit my work. Almost anyone who read it said it was a sincere write-up and they loved it.

That time wasn’t good so I wasn’t aiming for an upvote. I was wishing to win to compensate myself for the hard work for the past weeks. I went offline. After a busy day, I came to realized I had a notification. I thought it was a comment or someone followed me. But that was my wonderful day. A day that brought my spirit back to steemit. I checked the notification and it was an upvote from steemcutaror01. I jumped into the sky with excitement. I was overjoyed. I thanked my God and said, “finally brighter days are coming.” It was light my wife gave birth to twins in good health. I can’t even tell the excitement level.
I was in school then. @daakye and @jhayss my roommates were excited as I. because they knew what we were going through. When this happened, it gave them hope and courage that steemcurator01 is not sleeping and our time will come. We celebrated because of the upvote. It was really great.
Surprises are good especially when they are good news. I will be glad to receive such surprises even all day. Because writing is what I do and that can be a motivation for me to always do my best to produce quality content. I will keep writing and hoping one day or every day I get this surprise.

Hello my dear friend, first of all we are very happy that you are with us participating in this beautiful contest. When I was reading your post I remembered that I also went through that. I spent more than three weeks where I saw my publications that did not reach $ 1, for a moment I stopped to think to ask myself if I was doing something wrong, and I spent every day for many hours making a publication and when I saw that they expire even without get as little as $ 1. We should always be grateful to God for these moments. It is when we go through difficult moments in our life and we have to move on overcoming them, so let's continue working with love for what we like and feel the happiness that through our content we can join with more wonderful people on this platform.
