Hello SteemKids and Parents!

It looks like it is not only businesses that are wrapping up outstanding matters but also individuals and others before the end of the year.

Today, I am going to tell you a bit more about some of the “others,” but before we get there, here are last week's clues for the last time.

And the correct word is "AUTHENTIC."

Yes, it was an easy one this week, and it all depended on who was going to “push the button” first.

Each year, various dictionaries have a word of the year.

This year, Merriam-Webster’s word of the year is "AUTHENTIC."
As per their explanation:

A high-volume lookup most years, authentic saw a substantial increase in 2023, driven by stories and conversations about AI, celebrity culture, identity, and social media.

Oxford also announced their word in the last week, RIZZ.”

Pertaining to someone’s ability to attract another person through style, charm, or attractiveness, this term is from the middle part of the word ‘charisma’, which is an unusual word formation pattern.

And, Collin’s word of the year is “AI.”

‘AI,’ a term that describes ‘the modelling of human mental functions by computer programs’ has been named Collins Word of the Year 2023. Considered to be the next great technological revolution, AI has seen rapid development and has been much talked about in 2023.

I cannot help but wonder how many Steemians contributed to the use of these words in 2023.

Of importance, it must be something that you can see and not something you can feel, like an emotion.

BUT, “I spy with my little eye” is so much more than just a spy game;

It is a thinking game
It teaches you how to use your logic and reasoning and
It grows your vocabulary
