Hello friends in Steem Kids and Parents, it has been a long time I posted in this platform, my apologies. I am fully back again . I want to share my Dairy Game of 4th August and celebrate my Daughter's birthday as well. Actually this post was supposed to be done on Friday for the "Update #75: Writing Expedition ✍️, Have Fun while Writing! Choose From Varieties Of Topics" due to what I was working on of which deadline was that Friday I couldn't.
Indeed the Lord is good! I am grateful to him for bringing me and my family thus far, indeed the past few years had really been tuff with us but God saw us through. As a result of that we could not really celebrate my daughter's birthday for the past 2 years aside from taking pictures and pray for her at home.
This year's birthday celebration of Princess Etieyen-Sophia took a better dimension and we celebrated her in grand style. When I started telling her about her coming up birthday, she was so excited and would like to talk about it every now and then. One day she said "I to Tropicana for my happy birthday " I was surprised because I couldn't recall ever mentioning such a place to her before then. Though initially I had thought of buying cake and doing a small in-house celebration for her but immediately she mentioned Tropicana, I promised her we will visit Tropicana on her birthday and she was very happy.
So on Sunday, 4th August, 2024 we woke up full of life and energy, thanked God and prepared for service. We attended first service by 8:00am and when it was time for second service we left the church by 9:00am. Before going home, I stopped by the market to buy food stuff to prepare so that we could eat before going to Tropicana for the birthday celebration. I cooked jellof rice with fish. I did not remember to take that picture.
After cooking we ate lunch and left for Tropicana at 2:30pm. While on our way we bought pug of #1,900 (6.5 steem) and we boarded Keke to Tropicana and we arrived there at 3:00pm. On our arrival I wanted to take pictures and I realized I had left my phone at home. I wasn't really sure if the phone was at home, I became worried and scared that I had misplaced my phone. Thank God my husband brought his phone and that was how we were able to take pictures.
After taking pictures we went inside to relax and enjoy. We entertained ourselves with two cups of ice cream which costed #1000 (3.5 steem each). Because of my phone we went back at 4:00pm.
