My Town in 10 Pics

I am going to present my town in 10 pictures in this worldwide platform. It is a great initiative to introduce our town as well a our country with the world. Thanks @goodybest for hosting this contest. Hope you will like my town. So Let's start,
I will start with my most favorite place of mine. The place is my college, the name you can see in the picture is Shaheed Minar. This minar has been built to protect the memory of the language martyrs who were martyred in the 1952 language movement of Bangladesh. A Shaheed Minar can be seen in every educational institution of Bangladesh. People of Bangladesh offer flowers to this Shaheed Minar every year on February 21st in the early morning to honor language martyrs.
The white colored building in the picture is a holy place for Hindus. I have seen it from outside, never been close or inside. However, I have heard that puja is performed inside it. This white building looks beautiful all the time but in autumn the beauty of this building increases manifold. This can be seen on my way to college. It is located at a place called Balubari in my city.
Now I am going to share a picture of a ladies hostel gate. When I took this picture then it newly built thats why it wasn’t crowded but now it a very crowded place. Girls ralk and run here and there all time (haha)
The picture I will share with you is a very important building of Bangladesh. Every district town has one such building. This is the building of Bangladesh Shishu Academy. Various activities are held here for the development of children. For example: painting, music, dance, recitation etc.
Seeing the children in school dress, you must have understood that this is a picture of an educational institution. It is a very reputed educational institution in my city. The name of this educational institution is St. Joseph's School. I go to this school almost every day. The environment of the school is clean as well as there are beautiful flowering plants.
When it is about my town then I have to share this picture with you. This is the smooth road of my town. Sometimes here we stuck in jam but it take maximum 10 minutes. It is called highway express road but here hardly seen buses and trucks.
The name of this place is Gaur-e- Shaheed Maidan. This is the largest field in my city. Various types of work are done in this field. Cricket, hockey, football, skating training is conducted daily in this field. Besides, street food stalls can be seen here in the afternoon and many people gather every afternoon. I took this picture at noon and found the field empty.
This is a picture of a restaurant in my city. The name of this restaurant is Mahajan Bari. The restaurant has been built with the tradition of Bangladesh. The thatched house you can see in the picture is a traditional house of Bangladesh. This restaurant is clean and colorful. The food here is of good quality.
This is a building of girls school in my town. The name of this educational institution is Collegiate Girls School and College. It is located at Balubari in Dinajpur district.
The picture I will share with you is a building of my educational institution. It is a public university fisheries faculty building. I had classes and labs on the 1st floor of this building. Commute here often and one of my favorite places. This is the place called Basherhat in my city. Every day thousands of students have classes and exams in this building.
