How fun it is for me when I see a kid smiling.
Remember like Whitney Houston in her song said "Let the children laughter remind us how we used to be"
Smiling often reduces stress and anxiety, It boosts mood, reduce blood pressure, improve social connections, and improves better memory.
According to research;
Infants (0-12 months); smile 400 - 500 times a day
Toddlers (1- 3 years) smile 300 - 400 times a day.
Preschoolers (4 - 5years) smile 200 - 300 times a day.
School age children (6 -12years) smile 200 - 100 times a day
She's just a toddler who smiled after taking her bath and eating. She is such a cheerful child whose smile I got addicted to. A contagious smile she has. She also smiles when she is given her toys to play with and when she comes in contact with other kids.
How I feel when she smiles is one feeling I will never know how to describe. She has a lovely smile I can't and can never resist. She is the last child in our family from my maternal side and she has become so attached to me and my cousin sometimes ask if I birth her 😂😂 but, the love we both share is undefined.
How I contributed to her smile though not much but it was something that made her day. I received a hug at first from her before I showed her what I made for her. The hair band you see in the picture above was made by me on her special day, her birthday she clocked on year I was still a secondary school student then, I was on a training on how to make hairbands, fascinator, bridal umbrella and bridal fan. I recalled my little baby was going to celebrate her birthday on the nineteen of September. Though, not with enough money I bought petals and set to work. I made a pink hairband for her. On arrival to her house I was welcome and received wholeheartedly. She glued to me and I decided to present her with the hairband I made she was ful of smile. Coincidentally, her birthday outfit was the same colour as her hairband. A proud smile I gave and she reciprocated same. Her smile is lovely and I'd love to watch it daily. It gives me a peace, joy and happiness I can't explain. The above photo was sent to me , since I couldn't attend her birthday. I was glad atleast she appreciated it with a smile which was everything.
I will like to invite my friends @Davidmarkgeorge @imohmitch @ezuntimmy @chiagoziee @onlyonefave
