Dear Diary
I feel so glad to see the first day of the month. I could remember last year in my husband's former working place, they do celebrate 1st October (Nigerian Independence) in a big way just like Christmas is celebrated. There they celebrate 1st October more than even Christmas and New year, they do buy new clothes, some do even cook rice, kill chicken or cow, buy drinks and even bake chin chin.
I really enjoyed last year's 1st October because, it was lots of fun, I learn different cultural dance after which I and my friend went to watch football match which was played by the community boys.
I woke up this morning with all this thought in my mind, I still give God thanks even though we are not in that town anymore. The memories of that day is so fresh and beautiful.
I woke up very early in the morning as usual, when I woke up I did my usual devotion, where I praise God for making me and my family to see the month of October.
After my devotion I continued with my routine house chores, I mopped and clean the entire house, wash the dishes, then took my bath, and I also bath my baby Castiel.
After which I took breakfast then I went out to get some food stuff. When I came back I prepared Abacha is a Nigerian salad mainly prepared by the igbo's brothers.
The ingredients I used is:
- Abacha
- chilly pepper
- onion
- fish
- pomo
- Dawadawa
- Maggi
- salt
- red oil
- potage
- spinash
I really enjoyed eating it, after eating I took some rest.
When I woke up I watch an interesting movie, then I later cook rice for dinner. After cooking I took my evening bath, then I dish the food and we ate.
When it was time to go to bed, we did our night devotion and we retired to bed.
Thanks to everyone reading my entry on my diary.
I will like to invite my friends @ngoenyi, @josepha and @ruthjoe to also make their entries.
