HOW I SPENT MY DAY

MORNING

The night seemed fast and short; my sleep was interrupted by the sounds of moving vehicles in the street, since our house is close to the roadside. It was already 5 a.m. on Thursday morning. I got up from bed, and as usual, I did my morning prayers. After that, I went for my usual morning chores. Firstly, I got up from bed, and as usual, I did my morning prayers. Secondly, I started doing my morning chores, like sweeping the compound and my room, washing the dishes, fetching water, etc. After that, I prepared something for breakfast, which was fried rice and ripe plantains. By this time, it was 6:50 a.m. and I was already done with my chores. Lastly, I took my bath, ate my breakfast, and got ready for school.

I left the house by 8:30 a.m., since my distance to school is about 45 minutes and I had lectures at 10 a.m., so I had to be in school early in order to meet up. When I got to school, I met my friends, and we all settled down together, waiting for the time of the class. It was now a few minutes to 10 a.m.; we started heading to the lecture hall, took our seats, and awaited the lecturer. Not too long after, the lecturer arrived and began the lecture, which lasted for 2 hours. At the end of the lecture, we all left the lecture hall and went to get some refreshments.

AFTERNOON

My friends and I all went to the school canteen known as ENGINE MARKET (since it is close to the faculty of engineering). We bought some snacks and drinks and ate to our satisfaction. I bought a bottle drink, meat pie and biscuits which was equivalent to 2 steems(1000 naira ) at current price. Since it was not yet time for our second class, we relaxed there and chatted a little. Our second class was at 3 p.m.; it was almost time, so we all left the market and headed to the lecture hall. We took our seats as usual, but this time the lecturer was already there, and he began the lecture. Since it was almost evening, some people were already tired and longing for home. Finally, the class came to an end; by this time, it was 4 p.m. already, and everyone was rushing out of the hall. Students and staff were already heading to their different destinations.

My friends and I, as usual, began heading home too. When we got to the school gate, some of them went to their different destinations, and some were also coming my way, but not actually to my main destination. We parted on the way and went our different ways.

EVENING

I got home; it was almost 6 p.m. already. Though I was stressed, I was not that tired. I changed, went to the bathroom, and took my bath, then came back and went to the kitchen to eat my remaining meal. After that, I decided to take some rest; I used this opportunity to surf the internet with my phone, play some games, and watch some movies too. By 7 p.m., I decided to read my books and also review what I was taught in school. I rounded up everything by 10 p.m. and prepared for bed so that I would wake up early tomorrow morning.

My day went well—nice and pleasing. What I enjoy most is chilling out with friends at school. I can't wait for tomorrow.

Thanks, friends ✊♥️
