INTRODUCTION
In my today's entry I will be sharing with you guys my own understanding of who is a Moderator in the steemit platform, their role, the criteria to obtain to be qualify to be a moderator and lastly the community I would like to work as a moderator in.
I promise it will be interesting and fun so just sit back and read through and don't forget to use the comment section if you have any questions or corrections.
DESCRIBE YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF WHO A MODERATOR IS IN THE STEEMIT PLATFORM?
Now the first question as you have just raid is all about my own understanding of who a moderator is in the steemit platform.
So according to my own understanding of who a moderator is and as far as the steemit platform is concerned, a moderator in the steemit platform is a person whose duty is to checks various articles published by other steemians to make sure that such an article is up to community standard.
Since each community in the steemit platform has their own different rules which all community members must follow, so it is the work of the moderator to check all the articles published to see if there are all following community rules.
WHAT ARE THE THINGS A MODERATOR IS SUPPOSED TO CHECK IN EVERY POST?
The things that a moderator is supposed to check in every post that is published in the steemit platform through various communities are many and pertaining to certain community rules which I have said earlier.
So some of the things in which a steemit moderator is supposed to check in every post are;
- Steemexclusive
- Plagiarism
- Abuse
- Voting CSI
STEEMEXCLUSIVE
It is the work of a steemit moderator to check all the post published by steemians in each community to ensure that their post are primarily meant for steemit alone and not shared with other platforms.
PLAGIARISM
Since the number one and overall rule in the steemit platform is "No Plagiarism" so it is the work of a moderator in the steemit platform to check for users who have violated this policy.
ABUSE
It is also the work of a moderator in the steemit platform to check each post published for any form of abuse words or the used of faul language of hate speech 💬.
VOTING CSI
It is also the work of a moderator to check ✅ if you as a steemian are also voting and supporting other steemians.
WHAT CRITERIA DO YOU THINK A USER MUST OBTAIN FOR HIM/HER TO BECOME A MODERATOR?
According to my own little knowledge about steemit I think the various criteria required for a user to be qualified to become a moderator in the steemit platform are;
- He or she must know about the basic things usually check by moderators
- He/she must familiarise their selfs with community rules and regulations
- They must know when an image or article has Plagiarised
- He/she must have a good manner of approach in terms of addressing other users
Some of the above mentioned criteria is what I think is required by a user in other to be qualified to become a moderator in the steemit platform.
IF YOU ARE NOT YET A MODERATOR, WHICH COMMUNITY WILL YOU LIKE TO WORK IN AS A MODERATOR AND GIVE REASONS FOR YOUR ANSWERS
To be sincere I would really love to become a moderator in any of this two lovely communities and there are;
- Steem kids and parents community
- Hind whale community
I do have great love for this two communities because their sole aim is to support as many users as possible and carry everyone alone with no form of descrimination, this two communities tries as much as they can to be fair when dealing with its members and I really love them.
CONCLUSION
In other to conclude my entry I will like to say that being a moderator is one of the hardest work in the steemit platform because it's not easy to carefully go through many post just to make sure that all of them are following community rules.
And unbehalf of all other steemians I want to say a big thank you to all the moderators, because indeed you are all doing a great job well done and God bless.
