TEACHING KIDS ABOUT THE EARTH AND STARS

in hive-139765 •  3 years ago

Hello steemkids. I am glad i have this opportunity and privilege to teach you about our planets and universe. The universe is very big. All planets are part of the universe. I will be teaching you about some planets so do not worry if you do not know about them. But did you know that the earth we live on is also a planet? Wow that is interesting, yes it is. The universe contains the stars, the planets, moon, space and everything you see and can imagine.

There are currently eight planets in the universe which are;

  • earth
  • jupiter
  • mars
  • uranus
  • saturn
  • venus
  • neptune
  • mercury

  • But i would be talking about the earth today.

    EARTH

The earth is where we live. We are on the earth right now. we grow our plants, we go to school, we learn, eat and do everything on this earth.

    Earth with stars around it

The shiny things you see around the earth is called stars. Stars give us light in the day and night. The sun which is also a a star gives us light in the day.

    Sun and earth
So the yellowish colored circle with the earth in the picture is the sun. and it is far away from the earth. If it gets too close everyone on the earth will get burnt because it is very hot.

Apart from the stars the moon also gives brightness to the earth in the night

    full moon in the night

So what you see round at night is the moon not the sun.

All living things dwell on this earth and we must keep it well to maintain and preserve nature.

    Thanks, for sharing!

I use to know about nine. The ninth one went to were?

Yes 🙌. It used to be nine but in 2006 the IAU downgraded Pluto. It is a dwarf planet now. Not a planet as we know because it did not meet all the criteria

    que interesante nuestro planeta tierra
