Hey guys... How you all doing..? Today is Monday here. I wish you a terrific day ahead as I share my post with you. My fellow members of @steemkids I am here again to share and teach you all how to draw a realistic pencil portrait of a beautiful couple...
So just buckle up your sit belt and get ready.....!!
Materials
Pencil: Charcoal pencil
Paper : Alabaster paper
Eraser : Mono zero eraser
without further adoule this are the steps I took when drawing my portrait
Step 1
I got my Alabaster paper, then I had to grid my lines correctly.. then I made a light sketch of the two couples using my Hb pencil, so if you wanna try yours, I would advise you to take your time and sketch it properly to avoid mistakes...
Step 2
After getting my sketch correctly, I then used my charcoal pencil directly to shade her hair tie.. after doing that I used my mono zero eraser to bring out the highlights on her hair tie, but if you don't have a mono zero eraser, you could use a normal erase to bring out the highlight but when doing this you have to be careful so you can keep a nite background...
Step 3
I used my charcoal dust and my brush to shade her face softly, so you could do same...
Step 4
After doing that I used my pencil directly to shade their clothes then I used my eraser to bring out the highlight to make it look realistic... I didn't really take much time to work on their clothes this cause the portrait was urgent tho..
Step 5
I used my charcoal dust to shade and blend his face, After that I used my pencil directly to shade his eye brows and his beards then I blended the shades softly into his skin... During this process my background was kinda dirty tho, so I used my eraser to erase all the dirt and keep a neat background...
Done with my portrait and am going to frame it soon..
Hope you all loved the portrait of the couple I made..?
You could try it at your spare time whenever you want to...
Thanks for checking my blog and my post as well...
Happy steeming friends
