Hello friends, I hope you are all well. I am also well because of the infinite mercy of God. Once again, I come to you to participate in this amazing topic of the sixth week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge. Through today's challenge, I will share with you about my creativity (DIY).

what do you understand by DIY, state what you can be able to do yourself and explain them briefly

---

DIY means do-it-yourself, meaning anything that we can make, that we can decorate, and that we don't have to pay someone else to do. I am paid by others for what I can do and my work is slightly different from all the other participants.

I am an event planner and I have decorated many types of small and large events. Yes it's true that I have to work with masons to complete my work because my work is so challenging that I need a team of 6-7 people to create a complete event and I instruct them.

However, I am the team leader and organize and plan every design and decoration from start to finish of an event. Apart from designing and planning, sometimes I work as a mason and sometimes as a helper to make my own things.

How do you feel after you have made anything by yourself and what do you use those things you have made for?

Having a complete event ready doesn't mean I'm done, I'm only done and successful when the client compliments me for my design and planning after the event is over. Then I enjoy a lot and feedback from clients motivates me more.

The events I create meet people's requirements and needs. I have designed many types of events below are some of the event design work I have done:

Wedding ceremony
Engagement ceremony
Social gathering function
School-college cultural program
Community center design
etc..

My decoration are useful for people's various functions and events. Moreover, my luxurious designs make people's beautiful moments more vibrant and memorable.

Every week I have to work on one or two events so when we are involved in a regular work we understand the depth of it and for this I have to use many types of material, equipment. But to give perfection to my design, I have to use different types of fabrics, among them tissue, shutting fabrics,artificial elements are used more.

In any event first we prepare the frame first for which we need a lot of bamboo wood,ropes,pin. Then the designs are made with different colored tissue cloths. Then different shapes are made with the cloths like bubble, circle, pumpkin, wave etc.

Yes, my designs are always new. I try to keep the designs interesting especially according to the client's needs. I am sharing some samples of my work below.

what's your Advice to those who are finding it difficult to take part in anything DIY?

---

Any DIY project may seem difficult at first because you don't have any prior experience with it, as happened to me. But I have learned my skill through practice. I think practicing what you want to make yourself and constantly trying to make it differently will allow you to enjoy it and, at the same time, bring out your creativity.

Another thing is to find something in what you are creating that makes you happy. For example, when I get compliments from clients on my own work, it makes me happy and encourages me to do something different and unique.
