Introduction
One of the very interesting stages in a human being's life is the childhood stage. At this stage, you are full of dreams about what to become in the future without understanding how these dreams would be actualized. There is no one without a dream, I mean the dream of what to become or achieve in life. During childhood, we all dream of what we want to become when we grow up. The most interesting part of it is that these childhood dreams don't just come to actualization without the support of someone beside you, which may either be your parents, siblings, friends, spouse, or God (of course, God is inevitable in this matter). And the indisputable fact about these dreams is that you can not achieve them all. Even, you may not achieve anyone of them because the direction may change as time goes on according to the will and plan of the dreams fulfiller, God.
"It's not about how to achieve your dreams, it's about how to lead your life, ... If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself, the dreams will come to you".--Randy Pausch
My Childhood Dreams
I can remember my childhood dreams very well. Then, if you asked me what my dreams were, my typical answer would be that I wanted to become a political hero, mogul businessman, professional doctor, or pilot. You would wonder what I became today was never listed in my childhood dreams. God knows the best. Yes! God knows the best! The above quote perfectly described how I accepted my fate in achieving my dream.
My Sadness: A Sad Part Of Childhood Dreams
Unfortunately, when I was a child I would feel sad about the fact that I would not be able to live my dreams until I was grown up. Yes, I used to feel very bad then. But, Of course, the feeling did not stop me. All I had to do was close my eyes and imagine that my dreams had to be fulfilled. Then, I knew I was far from fulfilling my dreams by a long shot. The capability of not being able to actualize my dream when I was a child would make me sad because the dream was always in my imagination, day and night. What a sad part of the childhood dream!
My Happiness: An Interesting Part Of Childhood Dreams
But then, being able to picture myself living a whole new dream every day simply by closing my eyes brought a very deep smile to my face, even if it was just in my imagination. Daydreaming made me feel happy when I was sad. It gave me a unique feeling of happiness that I never felt before. In this whole new world, I was able to imagine myself accomplishing my dreams one by one in faith, and it allowed me to be full of hope as I was growing up. I couldn't imagine how happy I was when I was little child Imagining what I dreamt to become in future.
Who Supported My Dream?
Without much ado, some people have been the best composite of my life and dream. They supported me even when none of my childhood dreams were achieved. Who are these people? My parents and my dear, loving, and virtuous wife. They made sure that, my childhood dreams didn't come to reality though, they would do their best to support me to achieve the divine dream that the living God has chosen for me. Kudos to them ten times!!!
"When you have the right people around you, your dreams will definitely come true, even when the going seems to be tough and rough. Choosing the right path of life and living according to the will of God, the dream fulfiller, the dream will surely come true".
The Dream I Achieved
You will be surprised that I was not able to achieve any of those dreams that I dreamt of when I was a child. Are you surprised? Yes, I know you would be! But I didn't see this as the end of life for me. A quote says: "When the going gets tough, the tough get going”—Joseph Kennedy". Some things do happen at times and we are always ignorant about why they happen. As a result, we do feel so sad. I felt so sad when I couldn't achieve my dreams despite that I tried so hard. This is the hand of God in my destiny because I ended up being a CLERGY. I never thought of becoming this ever since I was a child till the year and day I confirmed it. I'm now a very young clergyman with abundant grace. I have never been ashamed of the position into which the living God has put me. Alleluyah.
What Went Wrong With The Dreams I Didn't Achieve?
When I turned 19 years old, I started living out my dreams and daydreaming to imagine that they would come true. Then, I tried to go to university to study so I could achieve one of my dreams, but unfortunately, this was not possible due to the financial problems that my parents were battling with. Oh, this truncated the whole journey to actualizing my dream. This is another unforgettable sad part of my dream journey. There is nothing that went wrong with the dreams I could not achieve than my parent's inability to send me to university due to their financial incapacity. They tried their best. But all efforts to make sure that I went to school to achieve my dreams were abortive. But this didn't stop them from showing full support for my dream as a parent. Even when I became a clergy, they showed full support to make sure that the ministry the Lord committed to my hand is successful.
In Conclusion
One thing that reality has taught me is that in this world you must work hard if you want your dreams to become reality. It certainly is not as simple and easy, but I do not intend on giving up on my dreams. Above all, you must allow the will of God to be the priority over those dreams. Your dream may not come true, but that must not stop you from moving forward. The dream fulfiller is God".
Our way is in His hands. Learn from my dreams' journey.
Big thanks to my boss here on steemit for guiding and verifying me to become a member of this wonderful community. Kudos to @ngoenyi. Also, my thanks goes to @josepha, my first friend on steemit. Thanks for your guide from the beginning. More blessing to you.
This your childhood dream and what you have become today makes me understand that God thought concerning us might be different than ours, like the saying "Man Disposes God Proposes.
Be a clergyman is not something any one can go into unless you are called or chosen. Good luck with the contest.

"Who would dare to go against the will of God?" This statement shook my heart. It's powerful. Thanks so much. God will bless you for appreciating that fact. Our dreams and destiny is not in our hands and they have never been. He gave us control over them though, he has the say over them. Thanks so much.

Indeed this life is full of up and down and in every situation in life ,we always give thanks to God for always giving us the strange and ability for everything that we go through in life.
You story is quite simpathetic and I really feel for and I can also say that we almost have the same line of story but am greatful that God is always in control.
I also thanks God for the fact that you are a proud CLERGY man and you are so comfortable with your profession and I believe many more things will still came brother.

Yeah, thanks so much. I myself, I sympathetically wrote it for those who have been downcast and hopeless because of their terrible situation. No matter conditions we find ourselves in life, and no matter what dream we feel like dreaming, we must learn to discover the mind of God first. This will save us from the danger of going in the wrong direction. Thanks for reading the story. See you later.

I appreciate your courageous comment. Thank you so much. Once we human beings become ignorant of the divine purpose for our creation, we go in the wrong direction, as a result. If this happens it always results in toil and dream unfulfilled.
