My Unforgettable Steemit Surprise🥰🥰

I can remember that day as clear as if it were yesterday. It happened on the 26th of July 2021. I went to bed the night before feeling sad about something. So when I woke up, that mood still lingered😣. But everything changed when I opened my #steemit account to go through my notifications. I was confused at first when I saw that @steemwomensclub had mentioned me. So I opened the post to check and behold, my post was among the Top 5 Quality Posts Of The Day😱😱😱.

Before this, my mind had already been conditioned to write my posts basically for fun and this boosted my writing passion and inspiration. But to see it being selected as a top quality post of the day barely two weeks of joining the community, it felt surreal🤯.

After I read the post, I clicked on my link to see if it was truly for real. And it actually was. The post selected was my post written on Why lemon water is not a good way to lose belly fat. When it finally sunk in that this was really happening, I let out a scream.

Arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Oh my Goddddddddddddddddd!!!!! Masachiiiiii!!!! Papi!!!!!!!!!! Arhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! I cannot believe this, I cannot believe thissssss!!!!

This is basically a summary of my reaction as I called upon my brother, @benjamin09 and my sister😅. When they arrived, words were unable to leave my mouth. Not because I was speechless but because I naturally talk very fast so whenever I'm excited or nervous, my words are so fast that they blur together and I cannot breathe.

After they calmed me down and I was breathing though erratically, I just showed them the post and while they were reading it, I explained. A juicy upvote from steemcurator01 usually follows such posts selected and while I was happy for that, majority of my happiness was due to the mere fact that my post was selected a top five quality posts of the day. As a writer, my greatest joy comes when a piece of my writing is appreciated. I was on cloud nine.

I kept going through the post several times at different intervals to ensure that it didn't disappear because I might have been so stressed up that I imagined it all. But it felt so real. I then took to my WhatsApp account to share this news with two of my friends @nackasnelson and @nyuywir-frank. They were happy for me and congratulated me. The amazing women of the WhatsApp group along with our representative @ngoenyi all congratulated me. I felt so loved and appreciated.

This is a surprise I will never forget. It would be amazing if it happens to me again and the only thing I can do, is to keep writing unique posts consistently.
