How do you prepare for exams?

I prepare for exams by doing the following,

Praying before reading .

Reading ahead of time.

Seeking for help from others when I don't understand something.

Reading to understand and not just to pass exams.

Listening attentively in class.

Studying with pass questions.

Do you have any trick that you have developed over time that works perfectly for you?

The only trick that works for me is reading ahead of time.

What is your favorite time to study for an examination and why?

My favorite time to study is in the midnight, I prepare studying then because my brain is always cool at that time also the environment is very calm.

Do you feel scared when going in for an exams? How do you control or fight this feeling?

Sometimes I feel scared for exams especially when an writing a difficult course, I always feel like I didn't prepare enough. I also feel scared Sometimes while writing Computer Based Exams because of Computer system maIfunctionning. I fight this feeling by praying, taking a deep breath and telling myself that I will write well.

What advice do you have to give to those who still find it difficult to prepare for an exams.

My advice is this, know what works for you, reading habit that works for your friend might not work for you. Know your brain retaining capacity. There are people that reads few days to exams and pass very well. (Category A), they're students that have to start reading from the very first day school begins in order to understand (Category B), there are also students that the only thing they need is to listen attentively in class and they grasp. If you're a category B student and you do what Category A or Cstudents do then you will fall woefully.

Read with pass questions because it helps to show likely questions that might come out in an examination.

When you don't understand something, go and meet people that understands better to teach you.

Lastly always pray before reading because God is the giver of wisdom.

Thanks for reading through, I invite @jal08, @lindajenson, @raphealc to participate in this contest.
