Because of these, she because proud and turned all her friends to her maid. When she became of marriageable age, suitors from all walks of life came seeking for her hand in marriage but she refused.
She always tell her friends that her dream man is a very handsome and rich man. She says that she wants a man that will treat her like a princess. Any man that comes to seek for her hand in marriage she would mock and insult the person and tell the person to go and make money. This continued and all her friends got married before her.
One day, her maternal grandmother sent for her and adviced her, she told her that there is no way she would see a perfect man that she should select one man from the numerous suitors flooding their house and settle down but she didn't heed to her grandmother's advice.
One day a man named Nduka haven't heard about Olamma and her fantasies decided to teach her a lesson. Nduka was a handsome guy but he was a loafer, at the age of 30, he still depends on his parents for survival. Moral lessons

MODs Comment:amazing story and great lessons, indeed pride is before crash. We should humble ourselves and always count others are better than us, then we will be exalted. Olamma learned in a hard way, haha. Thanks for sharing the story with us, I hope you will continue to be active in our community. Success!
