Greetings friends, I am hoping everyone is in good health and feeling blessed. If you feeling down, it's okay, we all do sometimes but remember to pick yourself up.
This is my entry post for the contest "What do I want to do with my Steem Power" by @simonnwigwe. Hopefully, you enjoy and see the reasons with me.
What is your target Steem power as a Steemian and how long do you think it will take you to achieve that? |
---|
I am to believe that every Steemian knows the importance of Steem Power (SP), and the power it carries. For those who don't, let's learn that today.
Steem Power (SP) can be termed as your investment back into the Steemit platform, it is considered an influential token that gives a user more control over earnings on post-payouts and allows the user to earn also more curation rewards either via Curation or Delegation.
Therefore, I have no final target at heart, but to gather as many as I can as long as this platform exists, but for the sake of goal setting, I was hoping to achieve my first Dolphin status this year. It's been my second year on this platform, and even though I wasn't always available due to some reasons, I feel left behind by my peers, I've put into work for it, but the results ain't forthcoming just yet, but I am hoping it will.
Therefore, my Steem Power (SP) goal right now is to achieve my first Dolphin status and I hope to achieve that from now till the end of this year, so help me God.
What do you intend to do with your Steem Power (Curation, delegation, power down, etc)? Give reasons for your answer. |
---|
As I earlier stated, I'm not planning on having a final target of Steem Power, thus removing powering down from the equation from the foreseeable future.
Knowing also that both Delegation and Curation would only earn me more Steem Power (SP) rewards in return, I think my choices of use are clear, to Delegate the little I can to communities while also carrying out Curation on my own. Why stop when you can help others? Same help that has brought me thus far, so then, Powering Down isn't an option in my books.
What ways do you plan on raising this Steem Power and how successful have you been so far? |
---|
So far, my Steem Power at the time of making this post is at 2400+ which I may say won't hold many Curation rewards, so I have taken the step of Delegation knowing fully well even my 100% would only greet an Author with 0.002 cents. So to have more impact, I choose to delegate.
I've also set both my posts and comments reward power-outs to 100% Steem Power (SP) believing it is the fastest and best possible way to grow my Steem Power (SP) with no temptations from having liquid Steems.
This act was carried out far back as 7 months ago to tell of my dedication to growing my Steem Power (SP) but for some reason, I haven't been active much in those 7 months.
My last step in raising my Steem Power (SP) is to be active in posting quality posts in every competition I can get on like this one now. I also try to engage with other users in the engagement challenges using comments and upvotes with the hope of better days ahead.
CONCLUSION |
---|
In all this, the greatest of all ways to raise one's Steem Power (SP) is dedication, hard work and commitment, and I seek to have just that even though it is sometimes very difficult to be committed when it all seems you are not doing enough. It is the hope of better days that have got us here so why stop now? I invite @yakspeace, @edidiongeffiong and @abdullahw2.
